Well, just a little bit. Can somebody provide me a folder with all of the default sprites in it. Including terrain, tools, ect. I want the defaults because that's how I know what I'm editing. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

if u go to mods and texture packs in the minecraft main menu then click default and click done then u have the default textures.

I wan them so I can edit them, not use them. I already know how to do that. :smile.gif:

Ignoring that unhelpful tip from FiredRice: You have all the files already.

All you need to get them is: Winzip (or a similar program), and a brain.

Step 1: Search for %appdata% in your "My Computer" Folder.
Step 2: Open up Roaming, Then .Minecraft
Step 3: Go into the Bin folder
Step 4: Open the Minecraft.Jar with Winzip or another program like it.
Step 5: Select the following folders/files, and drag them into the folder you want to store the new files in, dont worry, it automatically copies them.



Step 6: Edit to your desire
Step 7: Once you are finished, click and drag all teh files and folders back into the Minecraft.Jar
Step 8: ... PROFIT!

Is there a free version of winzip out there or something like it. I don't want to pay 30$ for something I'm going to use once.

Or you could just download the trial. And trust me, with minecraft modding and texturing, Winzip, WinRAR or 7zip is KEY. Also, to you for undertaking a texture pack ^__^
