finally got my pre-order of Dragon Age II Sig. Edition...probably wont be doing much as far as working on the next update for a few days. (I'm so full of it...that water is driving me nuts, will still be working on it.)
I'll be so happy when the day come we actually have sorted texture pack forums. I am about fed up with getting bumped down so fast due to the 50 million damned simple/clean/etc packs that are coming out every day. Don't get me wrong...I like some of them (like Adriorns Baisico, and the unrealistic hd pack because they are ORIGINAL) but come the hell on people. Even if we had a thread just for those that is separate from the main thread I would be happy. The thing that pisses me off the most is how upset the pack authors get when they have a negative response in their threads...it's always "this is my first pack" or "I worked really hard on this" GDIAF. Sorry for the rant, but this is my thread...it stops me from flaming theirs.
Edit: and I'm starting to think I'm not getting any feedback because I'm an a'hole most of the time...lol
so..I have been playing D.A. 2 the last couple days...and realized today that the lava texture I have been editing is in the game! lol now if I can get Scuttles to tell me how to do the heat filtering...hehe
took a day off to go to a bbq and get drunk..still managed to work on the new stone/ores anyway... I'll check and see just how bad they turned out in the morning..lol (and get some screens up, after I redo all the mapping for the new additions)
This pack looks so awesome, and keeps getting better every time I see it. Unfortunately, it's the only texture pack I want to load that I haven't been able to get working. Keeps crashing on me, and I haven't puzzled out yet what I've done wrong. I've been using Misa's mostly, occasionally trying out some of the other 128x and 256x photo-realism packs and some of the better looking 32x and 64x packs. I'm going to try again tonight or tomorrow and come back here to post my problem in hopes that someone can help me. What has worked for other packs which use the shaders and/or modloader doesn't work for this one for me, but I haven't figured exactly what I'm doing wrong.
I'm betting when I post step-by-step what I'm doing, someone can point out what dumb move I'm making that makes it all fail. Hope you keep working on this for a while, as I really like it more and more with every update. Thanks for working on it.

I have had a lot of issues with it myself when changing things up and doing a fresh install.. it all seems to be the install order.. only thing that seems to work is macpatcher,shaders,modloader,mods...I have an order for those to make it all work too...lol if you can't work it out, after this next update I am going to be porting it down to possibly all resolutions before moving on to the items and such.. maybe a lower rez will work for ya? I know when I ported it down to 64x for my brother it gave me some major issues trying to get mods working(like 128x mo'creatures and fancypack work, but not on 64x).. I'm gonna figure that out while I'm downsizing and post detailed instructions to get around the common issues once I work them out.
Rather gorgeous. Unfortunately too apart from the "Minecrafty" theme. I'll still DL though, it's good enough to get me to try it. Keep up the excellent work!

Curse PremiumEdit: I also almost have a working specular map..a real one instead of the cheap grayscale one I have in the pack now.

Curse Premium1: I haven't been flamed at all
2: all the feedback thus far has either been constructive or good
so..with this rapidly approaching 2k downloads and 15k views...I'm happy with the lack of feedback..
(although it would help me work out the problems*cough*)
