Reason why most things in this pack relate to infiminer: Review V2

Review of 1. Love the new wood. Cool Cobble + Mossy Cobble Also.

Review of 2. I made this world when the locked chests were available... my house was originally on the side of a mountain, I trimmed it down to land and the chest was just floating :biggrin.gif:

Review of 3. I like the lupis lazure block.

Review of 4. See? Relates hugely to infiminer.
never played it... and that looks like total **** compared to mine...lol
and the whole blocky theme with the lines was me trying to shut up all the people that were like "I hate all realistic packs because they take away from the blocky feel of MC" by giving them an example of what it is like when realism is combined with the blocky feel.
my next pack, if I ever finish this one... will be seamless...and way better since I'll know what I'm doing and have the ability to make it 100% from scratch.

In Beta 1.2_02, GLSL was incompatible with my card. In 1.3_01, It was compatible.. :biggrin.gif:
Does TEST2 have the shaders pictures you posted up there?
Meh. Maybe i'm doing something wrong. I don't see it... The only correct pack I've gotten to work is balea, Because it included customized base.fsh or w/e shaders
Everything else with extra textures never worked... dax's bumpped shaders installed + default final.fsh

Let me start off by saying nice pack and a job well done. I tried to start making one of my own and it takes A LOT of time. (I gave up after I spent 2 hours making glass and it turned out crappy). Now I can really respect people who make texturepacks.
The water animation is FANTASTIC, and I really like the glass but...
I personally am not a fan of the wood planks or the cobblestone, two of the most important blocks in my opinion
The wood planks are kinda weird - they look more like 200 year old dilapidated corrugated metal than wood planks.
The cobblestone is OK but it doesn't tile very well (due to black outline) and the individual cobbled stones are kinda blurry and hard to make out. I don't know about other people, but personally I like my cobblestone to be a bit more like large stone bricks (similar to the Sanguine pack) than the kind of cobblestone that you would make a path out of.
Also, cobblestone and wood planks are also some of the most commonly used building materials, and they should go together well for construction.
I would recommend checking out Aza's Arid 128x pack for ideas on the wood and cobblestone.
One more thing - almost all of the blocks have black outlines around them. Maybe you did it on purpose to make it easy to see each different block, but I think it would be a lot nicer without them and with everything tiling. (Grass, sand, stone, cobblestone, etc.) It looks a lot more natural.
Feel free to completely disregard this entire post, after all it's your pack, and you've done a good job so far. The nether is really nice. (Well not "nice', actually creepy as hell, but that's a good thing).
thanks for the feedback y'all... other than the changes to the cobble/mossy/wood, I'm also replacing the fuzzy tree texture and redoing the wheat to get rid of that horrible in texture bumpmapping... and yes...the lines are on purpose.. explained it in the op

EDIT: BTW this whole post is about the textures currently in v2.6, not the screens you posted of stuff that will be in the next update.
Meh. Try out 256x256 Test2, Better wood + cobble.
