I've found some skins and texture packs i really like and i was hesitant on downloading them since i don't know much about minecraft (as i am only 4 days old. )and i don't want to download key loggers or some sort of virus. so basically what my question is, is can i get a virus or key loggers from texture and skin packs?


and i also would like to ask about this one texture pack viewtopic … p;t=104854 it's called simple craft. if i use this will i be able to use "Render:Far" on my 5-7 year old computer? my computer is very very slow and laggy when playing minecraft and i just wanted to know if this could make it less laggy and such.

Also, playing on far on a 5-7 year old computer just wont be playable, no matter what texture pack you use.

There is a mod called Optimine which boosts minecraft frames per second.
