Why is my grass block green on top and the rest is black?

The pack isn't updated to 1.5 yet. The crying obsidian texture is now used as the gradient side grass, so you see the crying obsidian as that texture. I'm mostly finished with the new update, it should be out in a couple of hours when I get a chance.

You still can use this in 1.5 by switching to "Fast" graphics, but the new blocks (powered track, saplings etc) will just be red squares until I update.
I like this texture pack a lot (probably the best i have seen,) but I suggest making the grass and snow not go down as far and also ti change the doors. Anyway great, and downloading.

I have grass so far down because I and many others build roads like this out of half steps:
And because looking up a hill from the bottom looks better because you don't see the dirt, sort of like better grass.
A small note: Somehow I mixed up birch and pine saplings in V11, I'll release V12 with a couple of fixes to things.

Are you planning on updating to 1.6 soon? I really like this pack but its kinda hard to use when maps are transparent and wild grasses are red blocks.
I've been watching this pack as it is my favorite one and always has been but I believe the maker has disappeared or something because he hasn't made anything or posted on here since 1.5.01 so I'm pretty sure this pack has died sadly. :sad.gif: Unfortunately, I had to switch to LB Photo Realism which looks nice but I seem to get a bit of lag with it. Also RipClaw, if you're reading this and I happen to be wrong and you ARE indeed working on this still (please let let that be the case) please correct me as I myself am awaiting an updated pack as well.
I'm no longer a member here, count this as my last post. I don't play Minecraft anymore, because updates are too far apart and I find Terraria much more fun. I don't work on this pack anymore, nor any other of my unreleased packs. Anyone is allowed to update this as long as you don't make a separate thread and only post the DL for the updated pack in this thread. If I ever do decide to come back, I'll update this thread to whatever version Minecraft is disregarding all of the unofficial updates.
