Please keep in mind that I am no artist (Okay, maybe a little bit of one), and basically know nearly nothing about art other than how to use gimp. This texture pack isn't meant to be a work of art, just a combination of things I thought would look nice.







1) Open run, and type %appdata%
2) Navigate to %appdata%\.minecraft\texturepacks
3) Drag "Ripclonian Pack.zip" to the texturepacks folder, leave it zipped
4) Run minecraft, select it from the texture packs list.

Note that this way does not have custom water, lava, or fire. Use Xau's Patcher to have those.

stone doesnt really tile well, try making the edges more similar to eachother

It's supposed to have a sedimentary feel, but I know it looks bad on floors and ceilings.

well when you have high contrast details like the dark stripe in the middle or the lighter corner it tends to look bad when tiled and if you just tone down that contrast just a little bit by maybe lightening it up with one of the colors around it you can still get the same feel without the bad tiling, i hope you took this the right way! I'm only trying to help!

All I did was turn the contrast down. Like this it seems too smooth to be stone though...

do you have gimp? if so just use the eyedropper tool to take a color of one of the pixels around the stripe and then turn the opacity( i think its called) down to 10% or 20% and then click on the stripe until you get the desired shade, same goes for the corner too

I always use gimp, here it is after I used a bunch of different tools on it to get this effect;

you my good man, are a pessimist. Your tex pack is AWESOME with a capital AWESOME and lets don't forget about that AWESOME. O.k. But I would make a change (probably just a personal thing (i.e. my pickyness with texture packs)) The doors, I don't really like the singular round window thing, maybe a big rectangle instead? I don't know. I fully support this tex pack.

Thanks guys. Tonight I will spend an hour or so working on leather/gold armors and doing the items I have to do.

Problem with the torch that's bugging me, in the topright corner you have a loose pixel.

Hmm? When I did the cacti I accidentally used "blur" slightly and made tons of loose pixels and ugly things, and a lose pixel in the corner of the torch was one of them... I'm sure I fixed it but I might have done it again. I'll go fix it.

Hey RipClaw, can you post or edit the first post whenever you update the pack? That would be nice.

Yes, I will once I finish this. So far in the next version I've added the armors, done all of the items other than the dyes, and fixed a few other small things (The stray torch pixel, the "loading bar" on the furnace etc.) I'm almost finished so I will have V3 out within 20 minutes or so.

Sorry for the double post, but I just finished version 3. The changelist and download are in the OP.

Nice update, I like the blue bed and updated tools, looks like the gold sword is a scepter though, thats cool. You should update the texture pics in the first post?
