I'm really sick of everyone who thinks that the "hd realistic packs" aren't "retro" enough for them. This thread needs to be closed for irrelevancy.

If you don't agree with his opinion, it doesn't consent closing the topic. It's a debate, i personally don't appreciate any pack over 16x, but some do, and they deserve credit for doing hard work for those people.

I think it's too bad all 256 packs I've tested are taking this "realistic" approach. It simply throws me out of the game immediately. I don't care if they're copy/past google images or not, it looks really weird to me.

Besides, they're just like those 16x "simple" packs. You've seen one, you've seen them all.

I'd really like to see something different from those realistic packs on this resolution. If there's one and I missed, please send me the link. 256 is the only res I haven't found a decent pack so far.

haha exactly, "They keep making textures smaller and smaller. And bigger and bigger. Pretty soon the medium sized texture will be a thing of the past. "
