Yeah I run normally past the 100s (without water shader :tongue.gif:) but when I start FRAPs it goes to a crawl. Not sure what the problem could be, my system is good. That's why I pin it to do something with my HDD. Oh well I'll figure it out one day maybe! Thanks for all the help.
I doubt it's your HDD, I have a 250GB stock HDD, with a 2nd HDD of my old Laptop's HDD. Could be your RAM?
Shouldnt be. Just picked up new ram. 8gb DDR3 1600 and my cpu is an i72600k. Slowly replacing stuff inside my computer kinda as a graduating gift, heh. That's why I'm so confused. GPU is GTX 460 and that should at least be able to FRAPs Minecraft of all things. :/ lol
I edit: LOVE Jolicraft (lol to keep it on topic on Jolicraft!)
Just got internet. Zoiks that was a lot of work! Nobody told me 4 days of moving heavy furniture would make every bone and muscle in my body ache like it's the first time I've used them. I think I'm going to need a good week of daily bathtub soaks to melt away my soreness. That's cool though. My new tub is awesome.
The reason for the colour is so yellow-orangey is because is Autumn in my world due to Season mod- the reason I did not post pics of the finished house is because winter would come next in 1 minecraft day and it will not loo kas good expect the finished house in Spring ( iN minecraft obviosly)
I've always thought minecraft should have seasons. I used to love the quandry texture pack rotator for that reason. I think this mod may just make it into my normal game.
So normally I do modern houses with weird shapes and designs. But I felt like doing something different; taking advantage of that water shader that was shared a few pages back.
If anyone knows how to make the video less jumpy, let me know. I should have enough ram and stuff. Maybe I need a second hard drive? :\
Love it. I like how those birds showed up at the end. Nice touch.
Watching the recent 1.8 videos from PAX have gotten me really excited about it. I can't wait to see what Andre comes up with for the 1.8 content.
I just hope the new lighting system doesn't look odd with the Jolicraft colors.
I actually loved your house. Everyone's houses were great, I was just too distracted to comment on every one. Your house was especially great. Made me wish I was playing Minecraft instead of painting my walls. But walls need to be painted, ya know? Especially these walls! They've got this stupid stencil pattern around all the doorways. It feels old-lady-ish to me.

Yeah I'm very excited for 1.8. I think it'll look great with Jolicraft, I'm not worried.
Hey andre while you were gone, Me , IndianaJonas and JuiceGrape have done something to thank you for all oyu have done to us...I know is not much but ...here you go http://www.mediafire.com/?coydsv0661rt0n8
Sweet! Love the Jolicraft mountain. I'm going to use this world and live in this house for a while, it's cozy.
Andre, why is it that on the terrain.png, where the side-grass is. Its just dirt, and no grass. B/c I only see side grass, when I play on fancy, but when I play on fast its just dirt, with no sidegrass.
just seen some vids for 1.8 and man it looks good. looking forward to see what you come up with for it Andre, especially the new gui.
Yeah the new terrain features will really change the game for the better. Larger biomes with rivers really make the landscape more believable. And I'm curious to see how this skill point stuff turns out.
Just filling the time til then making some alts. I'll release everything at once when I do the 1.8 update.

Woh. That must have taken you days to build. Are you an architect irl?
Love the pile (obviously). Sweet construction.

Here's a house I made. The inside still isn't done, so I haven't taken any inside screenshots yet, I'll get those probably tomorrow.
I have a quick question. Is this normal?:
