Xeldnar, are you running any mods? If so what are they?
I'm not using any mods, other than a patched 32 bit version of Glimmar's Steampunk texture pack (Which doesn't really count as a mod I suppose)
Thats the problem. You can't run other texture packs when you have another texture pack patched. Delete version in your bin folder inside .minecraft and everything should be good then.

Something that I noticed about using the patcher on this pack ( and possibly others, ) is that you have to install it the old fashion way in order for the patcher to give you the custom water, lava, and fire. Meaning you have to open up your.jar and drag in the texture files, then patch it.
I tried it multiple times with the texture pack selector and the patcher just made the water an aquamarine colore but with harsh lines it ._.
Oh, and thanks for all the fast updates and everythign :biggrin.gif: I remember just using it a few days ago and was like "Damn! he's using eld's mobs D:"
>see elds mobs

e: Do you plan on keeping frenden's buckets and soup bowls? I really liek them and think they do fit the theme of this pack. If you do plan on making your own, I think it would be nice to keep a similar style of bowl, a deep one.
Wow this is really unique. I really like this style, kudos to you.
Thanks, enjoy!

-> The smooth stone looks nice, but larger walls don't look that good. The patterns on the smooth stone, when seen on a larger wall, look very artificial, because the tiling pattern of the texture becomes very obvious, that could be tweaked a bit.
I definitely agree with this. It's on my to-do list.

2. when there is snow on the grass and you whack the snow off then the blades of the grass shift up a bit (this is due t to you making the profile view of the snowy grass have snow on top)
3. The lava for me is a bit too vibrant
4. are you going to add biome support? (that would be awesome)
Thanks! 2. Never thought about that before, I'll add that to my todo list. 3. I agree. 4. Probably not until the side grass gets affected by biomes (on Notch's to-do list). I can't stand different hues of green next to each other.

I dont like the look of iron, diamond and gold. Everything else is amazing!
Yeah, I may rethink the ores.

This is probably the most beautiful and original texture pack I've ever seen. I'll surely be trying this out! You are truly a wonderful artist.
Thanks! I'm just happy to be able to brighten a day or two.

Incredible. I was speechless for a few seconds. The presentation is by far the best I have ever seen (for myself) in this forum.
Thanks!

Odd, the patcher works fine for me. I just leave all the options selected and select the pack at 16x16, then apply the patch and the custom water & lava work fine. But I'm no good with troubleshooting these sorts of problems. I just paint with pixels, I'll let the tech-ies deal with the glitches.
And I don't think I'm going to do custom icons, I love frenden's icons and I think if I did do my own they would end up looking stylistically similar. I'll do the tools & armor, but that's probably it.
just stopping by to Give you a congratz, I was on youtube watching the yogscast and BAM there they were giving you props for your texture pack lol. Hers the link http://www.youtube.com/user/BlueXephos# ... aeKVYanzg4
and GRATZ AGAIN
Oh sorry I didn't know who made those tools. I grabbed them from another pack, I thought they were frenden's but i got mixed up. They're just temporary for now. But I've credited you now, sorry bout that. Love the pixel work in them btw!

Thanks for the animated water! I'm glad that you changed the coal icon because that before it was looking like a coffee bean.
Went ahead and made a quick 22 second clip of the animated water if anyone wants to see. Plus I have nothing better to do with my time than make random minecraft clips. If they get annoying, let me know, lol.
Edited my post because I just kept rambling not really knowing what I meant, lol.
Wow this pack is beautiful, artistic, and simple. Best pack ive seen, i only have one suggestion, could you make the stone a but more grey, I find it to look a but too much like a sand or something. But other than that, fantastic work sir!

That fixed everything up, thanks for the help!

Eyeball-ghast is a nice touch too :biggrin.gif:
Edit: Nevermind. I downloaded it and it didn't work. So I tried again and it wouldn't let me download it. Mediafire sucks.
I'll try again later :-p
and GRATZ AGAIN
Hah, I cracked up so much at that comment.

Nope. I'm 32p impaired. But thanks!
And other tools!

No problem, enjoy! Next up, animated lava.

Must have.
