One thing for the creator : I've download the Jolicraft textures pack. It's awesome and it works perfectly fine. The only thing is that I can't modify it. I'm try to darkened the rocks by unzip the archive, edit the "terrain.png" in Photoshop, then unzip it with the standard application of Mac OS X. It seems to transform it directly in a "Unknow Pack". Why ?
Love the Armor :smile.gif: And btw, what paint softare do you use, because paint.NET isnt up my alley.
Thanks. Photoshop & Illustrator CS4.

Yeah, I agree that the rocks could probably work better dark 'cause they look kinda like sand.
You know initially they looked even more like sand, I darkened them quite a bit. I'd love to do something like painterly pack's website so I could provide different flavors to download, but I'm probably not that ambitious.

If it's showing up as "unknown pack" then it means there's something wrong with the directory structure in the zip. Make sure you open my zip and put your files in your own zip in the proper directories. For example, the terrain.png needs to be in the root level of the zip.
I love the armors, but I just realized that you included hair with them, this looks praticulary bad when you have a robot skin or monkey or whatever. I think you should remove that darn hair, I don't want a hairdo for a crown! XD

HAHA! Robot with my hair... I love it. But you're right, it makes sense to remove the hair I guess. I'll get that done tonight.

I had an idea that looked a lot like this today during school. Came home, logged on, and saw this...
Great job though. Here are some diamonds
Quit thinking about Minecraft during school hours. Eyes up front. Say no to drugs.

This pack looks great and has a lot of charm, and it's become my go-to texturepack - but there's a few little things I've noticed in the time that I've been using it.
One problem is the visibility of tools in the inventory screen - iron tools, for instance, blend in with the inventory texture making it difficult to see what items are where without hovering for tool tips.
Tiling on stone seems odd - the darker grey lines – which I imagine are supposed to be cracks – come off as making the stone look as if it's... hairy. Maybe reducing the contrast between the cracks and the surface could help this?
The mossy cobblestone also looks very repetitive when tiled, maybe because of the moss being expressed with one line.
But I don't want to come off as a naysayer! This pack is one of the coolest I've seen – hope this helps some.
I agree with the inventory icons. I didn't make those, I'm borrowing Frenden's icon set for now. Maybe someday the icon fairy will grace jolicraft land with some custom weapon and armor icons.

Keep trying. I'm also the world's strongest millionaire. And my wife is a model. And I'm in a helicopter right now.

there is 'just a little'
and i love it. looks better with bettergrass.
I actually spent an entire night's work on choosing the perfect side-grass height. I wanted to create a sort of grass ledge that doesn't really climb down the block at all. More like the grass is it's own surface on the top of the block, and the dirt below almost tucks under it to create a sharp grass ridge. That's what the dark gradient at the top of the side grass block is for, to give that crisp grassy ledge.

Why don't you try just replacing the terrain.png in my zip instead of recreating your own zip. Something's going wrong when you're zipping.

We can infer that Notch's father was a randy skeleton with access to livestock.
