I could get the server. I used to have one, but canceled it because most of my friends are taking a break from MC until 1.8 and just didn't have the money. If people donated it would be very easy to keep it running.
Hmm... I installed the pack and everything seems to work well enough, but the water color hasn't changed. I noticed when I go under the water it does change to a more turquoise-like color, but the surface is still the bright, default blue of Minecraft.
Edit: Ah, fixed it by putting it as a texture pack, rather than just doing the 'Advanced' option. Although, the still water's movement seems sort of choppy. Is that supposed to happen?

You need to use the patcher to see custom water and lava.
I just realized the customizer doesn't have aether textures. Could you add those?
They're there. If you download the zip from the customizer site there's an aether folder within it. I don't have any alts yet though. I will eventually. Just too busy for the moment to worry about aether stuff.
Say Andre, just wonderin', but d'ya ever plan to sort out textures for the Aether's mobs? :ohmy.gif:
If I play with more aether, I will. I haven't really played in the aether much, but I'm hoping to when I have more free time in the near future (SO BUSY!). But for now I'm just working on adding alts for the vanilla minecraft.
In other news, I've taken a short break from my nomad world to make a lovely house atop a tiny floating mound under some epic cliffs.
That is so incredible, man. Any idea what seed/coordinates?
Besides my now discontinued server, I had been playing exclusively Nomad since 1.4 or 1.5 but I've found the seed 'aladdin' to be quite fruitful in many a location!
