I did a bit of research, and apparently the dungeon items are hidden or locked within the mod's code. I think they use colour overlays or something, so they kept those in code instead of external files. Anyways, the only stuff you can edit easily are the pngs in the items folder. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Why...those clever buggers! I'm willing to bet that they think they're just soooo smart with their new-fangled, fancy-shamcy code thingamajigs! They better not try their little shenanigans on my lawn, or I'll.....!!!
All kidding aside, I'll see if I can somehow access those files, it shouldn't prove too difficult!

P.S. You figured out what that farewell meant! I was wondering when somebody would solve that little riddle! Congratulations, have a cookie! Yay diamond cookies! :3

Actually, from what I can gather, the decision to have many sprites just be recolors of other sprites is due to the fact that Minecraft has a limited number of indices for blocks, items, and actual loaded sprites. This must have been an attempt to cut down on the number if indices used for the mod--freeing up space for additional items later on.

Haha, I didn't mean any offense towards the creators of the mod, as they've done a wonderful job! I just wish they had made it easier to edit the textures -____-
Ah well, it's not like the Aether Mod forces my computer to explode or anything......... o__O

Sorry, you're too late. I told them what you said. I'd like to see you talk your way around their wroth, when it comes upon you in the night. Then we'll see what a gentleman your corpse actually makes!

Just saying, I positively adore the way you type. The spelling, the unusual words (not really in this post, but you know what I mean), it's just awesome. Somehow I find it amusing to read any post you make, no matter how random the subject is...
Keep up the interesting posting! :tongue.gif:

You, good sir, have successfully made my day! :biggrin.gif:
I very much appreciate your oh-so-kind words, and I hope to continue entertaining you all for many days to come. :3
A good friend of mine once showed my this picture, saying it summed my demeanor up quite nicely:
I do so love posting in this topic, as the community here is splendidly courteous towards each other.
Really, you should all be proud of yourselves.
Oh, and your art and screen-shots are superb as well.
If you use the Yogscast mod pack like me with Jolicraft then you will notice the Randomite and Mystic Ore does look a bit out of place.
So to start with I just took Jolicraft's stone texture and placed some random other ore pieces onto it.
Hope this is ok yo Andre, if not I can easily remove this.
If allowed and use the addon then simple to replace the old version.
Explore the mincraft.jar file in the usual way (winrar, zip, etc)
Browse to folder scokeev and inside there is the randomite.png.
Hello~
I was just playing survival island, when I encountered a GIANT wolf pack. Now I have 9 wolves!
I felt the following was completely appropriate:
There is even a wolf named Andre! XD
Also, I "checked" to find out the genders. =3

There needs to be more options for the jolicraft customizer. Like items, tools, and more alt blocks (like the new lapis ore)
Maybe every version of block/item you made from every pack update. It will leave more options and it could be a better pack.
I definitely agree, I do plan on adding all the older alts, and a bunch of new ones. I'm hoping that Jolicraft will be "complete" around the time that Minecraft is "complete", so sometime in November. It's my goal to have my to-do list completely empty by then. No promises, but that's what I'm working towards.

Oh ho! A challenge, eh? Well, good sir, I've made it this far being deceased and continuing to be ridiculously chivalrous, so being a bit more dead shouldn't be too difficult!

After the pack is "complete" you should hold like mini contests for alt blocks. The winner could get their texture on the customizer page. Idk I love the pack and i just like to see it grow =)
I've used this before, it's win
The pack doesn't work.
Says that the ZIP is invalid
when i go in to edit the blood
out of the zombie textures [i don't like those types of packs where anything has blood on it].

That's odd. It opens fine for me. What program are you using to open your zip?
And there's no blood on the creeper. The creeper is a green creature that is holding a stick of dynamite. I guess it's not too clear, lots of people think it's some sort of bloody stomach.
