I have to say, your texture pack is the best I've ever seen in these forums, and your style is great. I hope you get a TV show or something someday.
There's a bug in the customizer, though, that says you didn't include a bunch of textures:
The following textures were added from defaults because the creator did not include these in their pack:
char
brownMushroom
rose
redMushroom
wool
dandelion
blackWool
redWool
pinkWool
lightGreenWool
brownWool
yellowWool
blueWool
lightBlueWool
purpleWool
cyanWool
orangeWool
lightGrayWool

That is a beautiful site, all of your art is just so amazing, it really inspires me. How do you come up with your palettes? Do you have a large library of colors you use?
Also potato art would be awesome!
No, I don't use premade palettes. I choose and mix all my colours live. I think I just have my favorite colours, so I end up sticking to the themes that I have the most experience in. You won't for example, find much purple in any of my pictures. I'm purple handicapped, I think. I can never make it work.
Damn, your site has me in awe. Your work inspires I, a simplistic doodler with much to learn, to try and better my own drawing skills. Your art style is beautifully unique, and I wish you the best of luck with your future endeavors. :biggrin.gif:
The good news is that it's easy to become a better doodler. You just have to do one thing. Draw! Do a ridiculous amount of drawing. Draw every day. Draw anything you want. Fill 10 sketchbooks before this year is done. Weather you want to draw pictures for a living or just for your own satisfaction, that's all you have to do. It doesn't matter if they don't look good at first. The sooner you make your first 1000 mistakes, the sooner you'll know how not to make those mistakes. Soon enough you'll reach that 'eureka' moment where you suddenly start drawing great pictures effortlessly.

I personally can't wait for the adventure update. I'm playing now with some fun restrictions I've set for myself. I chose the seed "Nomad", and my goal with this is to keep travelling in a single direction (west, towards the setting sun), and build statues along the way, always within eyesight of each other, so that one could hypothetically follow the statues all the way back to the journey's start. The goal is to travel light, since you don't have any real storage other than your backpack. It sort of forces you to live off the land, and build small yet efficient camps and houses, and never stay anywhere for more than a few nights. It's sort of sad, when you've spent several nights on a dwelling and become attached to it, to leave with nothing more than what you've got in your pockets. It's a great way to see the world though. Without having to worry about returning anywhere in particular, you can just wander. Anyways my hope is that I'll be playing this world when the adventure update is released, and I'll experience the new stuff as I explore the unexplored chunks to the west.
Edit: It's also interesting when building the statues. You start off with nothing but wood, but maybe as you find more resources each statue begins to become more extravagant.
Wow. Mine are basically exactly the same. I've built 33. Sometimes I put a trap door between the legs and make a small shelter underground with a bed and crafting table, maybe a chest to dump some of my valuables that are burdening me. You know, for the next guy who comes along :tongue.gif:.
ok guys cos my dad is being annoying and thinks that everything on the internet is a scam i am hosting my webcomic on the forums until i earn the $20 for the first months payment

This is a wonderful pack; so unique! I've been playing and following your pack for quite sometime, I've just always forgot to post.
The thing I really like about this pack is what you've been doing with the weather recently, your clouds are amazing, truth be told, I didn't know you could edit them. Also your updated rain with yesterday looks really cool, it reminds me of rainforests rain, that innbetween between heavy-soak-to-the-skin rain and a light drizzle, which I think you've magnifecently pulled off (I doubt that was what you were going for, I guess you were just updating the aesthetics of the rain to look it better.. :wink.gif:), but it fits perfectly with your pack anyway :smile.gif:
Thanks! I've been slowly going through and updating all the stuff on my to-do list. Now that I'm playing more all the cut corners really get to me. I'm glad I finally got around to doing the clouds and redoing the rain, they're both so important and so often overlooked. The biggest thing on my to-do list is to redo the animated water & lava.
Thought I'd share my first panoramic shot thanks to Domino's tutorial on his youtubes! Also my first time using photoshop so sorry if it's a little wonky!

Get to it when you can, if you want.
I'll look into it.

I have. I've done quite a few flash movie projects actually. But nothing I've done is online and public.

I'd love to redo the water entirely. I know exactly how I'd do it, it would just take a long time to animate. I will someday, mark my words.

The customizer seems to not have updated the item icons though.
doing it now!

I play on Normal difficulty with monsters on. No mods.
that nomad Idea was wonderful, I admire that. I love setting boundaries in worlds you play in.
