When using 3.1 and placing a minecrart on powered rails (powered using redstone not detector rails, though turned off by default) the game crashes completely in SMP (not tried singleplayer). If I go back to default textures by deleting the BIN folder and re-downloading it, it all works fine. Install 3.1 and bingo, crashes again.
I didn't think a texture pack could throw the game like this but it certainly seems to be doing it for me. Anyone else? Any ideas?
*turns out it also crashes on normal rails too*
Ok, scrap all the above. I couldn't work out how a pack of pictures could crash it so kept on testing, its when patched using MCPatcher that it cocks up. Using the pack the normal way via the minecraft/texture pack folders etc works perfectly fine. So, MCPatcher to blame, sorry Andre :smile.gif:
The old patcher doesn't work with 1.51. BUT, there is a new patcher (the link is on the first post of old patcher thread). If your game keeps crashing, go get the new one. Patches with custom water and lava, and it doesn't set the patched texture to default. You can switch between texture packs without repatching.
This Texture Pack is so far from amazing they might have to make a new word for it!
But one question, are you an artist? Or are the paintings done by somebody else?
Because I was amazed by the paintings and loved the skin of the little man on your logo. I tried my hardest to make one for myself like that but i could never get it! Anyway, I totally love your texture pack and I am going to keep it for a long time!

I am a pretty picky person when it come to texture packs, and I must say, this is one of my favorite texture packs.
Its so fairy tale and lovable like, its quiet amazing!
At first I didnt really like the replacment for cobble stone and the more sandy color of the stone, but I got used to it and learn to love it, and now I use this all the time.
Thank you so much for the amazing texture packs, I must bravo!
BTW, I love your art, I need to buy myself a few of your prints when I have the money!
Is far too cluttered. Vision is obscured far more than the default rain, and for some reason the Jolicraft rain texture drops my FPS far more than the default texture pack. Check out that FPS. :/

Don't worry, he adressed this problem himself in an earlier post. He'll be cleaning it up as he said its much too (forgot the exact word but it's somewhere along the lines of messy)

That's the rain & particles from 3.0. I tidied up the rain in 3.1, download that and you should find the rain much more enjoyable.

...Why does the spider have a mustache?
o_O
Cool Txtpack anyways
It's not a mustache! It's his mouth. Like, he's got a zig zaggy mouth. But now that you say that all I can see is a mustache! Heh. When you're making faces out of just a few pixels, it's hard to have it read as you intended. I may retouch the spider at some point.
Really good.
I got my pumpkins all worked out :biggrin.gif:
Thanks so much for making this, I love it!
I especially love that you made the paintings some of your own art work!
I love this texture pack because it reminds me of stories I used to read when I was young. It's almost like being in the book.
Hahaha, I cannot thank you enough for this pack, I can't wait to see what you do in the future.
.......so I just noticed something that neeeever bothered me before, but now it's going to and I hate it when that happens!
1) stone is kinda yellowy-light gray. GUD.
2) mine. cobblestone is also kinda yellowy-light gray. GUD.
3) craft stone tools. those are... bluey dark gray? WUT?
lul, it's... probably not a big deal.... idk, maybe Jolicraft stone tools are treated with some special stone-blue-en-ing compound to make them do that! or maybe I'm not the only one who's crazy this way? :biggrin.gif:?

You are so right. I totally missed that. Now I can't unsee it either. Fixed, it will be live in the next update.
Most likely you are sick of praise, and I'm sure that you won't like this comment, but I've tried dozens and dozens 9Hundreds? Thousands?) of texture packs at thi point, and yours is BY FAR my favorite out of all of them. My only issues is that the stone does kind of look like sand in default, and the rain is a bit...cluttered. But I'm sure there is an alternate version of the stone and I just haven't found it yet. Kudos for making an excellent pack!

*sigh* I'll have to open up PS and change all my alt textures again. I'll wait till later then.
