Hi, i love the jolicraft texture pack. The only thing im not a huge fan of is the glass, makes me feel like im in a prison lol (i like having large windows in my house)
I do realize there are alternative glass options available and ive tried to change them but it is proving alot more difficult than i first thought.
I have a mac (that might be the problem lol) and i open the terrain.png in photoshop, change the glass, save the file and zip it back up, then i open MC and apply the texture pack and it uses the default MC textures, not even the default jolicraft textures, the actual MC textures that it comes with.
Can anyone help me out?

There's a problem with your zipping. Open your zip, then compare it to my zip. You'll see you have a folder WITHIN your zip, instead of having the jolicraft files in the root directory. This is why it's not being applied. The folder structure has to be proper. Hope this helps.

...And here is the amazing BIRTHDAY CAKE HOUSE! :biggrin.gif: (decided today was your birthday)
Btw, thanks a LOT for this mod Andre, still the very best of all i've seen! We probably have a lot of tastes in common. It also gives all its pedigree to the Wild Grass mod I think :smile.gif:
Keep it up the good job!
Nice! My birthday is on June5. I'll eat it then. Hope it stays fresh.

I love this Pack and just downloaded it, However before I change the alts, do you have a file where it shows the diffrences between the original and the alternate?
I will soon, when the customizer is ready.

Put it simply, this pack is amazing. I love it so much! And your art is INCREDIBLE! Seriously, you do some fantastic work, and it shows that you worked hard and enjoyed making this pack, cause its got nothing but solid love in it! I really appreciate the fact that it is 16x16 as well because my laptop doesnt run MC very well on higher settings, and this pack runs perfectly fine.
Many thanks! Yeah I often play on my laptop and I can't use HD packs. That's one of the reasons I wanted to stick with 16x16, it's completely universal.
The sheep have evolved! Their wool now tiles making wool good for structures! The only problem with this is that I can't find out how to change the colors. regardless, if anyone can help me with those:
Hey, I went ahead and cut out each tile from the terrain.png to be used as smileys. You can find them here.
Just click one of those images in my images, right click, and copy image url. Then post them like this.

I don't think it's possible. I tried to figure out this exact thing when I was working on my photos post. It's built into the forum, and I can't find a way around it.

Thanks though! That's pretty cool.
Hmm, maybe I'll post a topic about this. Anyway, I don't think the cocoa beans texture fits too well anymore, So...
With or without nuts?
EDIT: also, did you see my wool alternate? It's a few posts up.
EDITEDIT: for the future implementation of the piston mod, and users of the mod...
the rivets work perfectly with how the block is textured.
Also, a heads up
Jeb announced on his twitter that the white and black space would be used by birch and pine saplings. White or birch, black for pine.

That's good news. I was always rather sad that my main world didn't have birch trees. Birch are my favorite trees IRL.
Yeah... Birches are the only trees other than pine that I see IRL. It's cool at first, but after living with pines for 16 years, it gets old. but at least now I can plant a bunch of pine saplings and have a real pine forest that's not snowy.

Compared zip files just now and everything is the same, all files and folders are all still in the same place, theres no extra files or folders in there at all. I cant figure it out :sad.gif:
It's funny to see their heads tilt to the side when you are holding a porkchop.
I am in love with this texture pack! (Using it for 2 months now) I decided to make my wolves pugs today and they are awfully adorable! > u<
I also downloaded the Wild Grass Mod, which makes Jolicraft 1000 times better!

I had the same problem. You SIMPLY have to compress the files within the main folder like this :
- open Jolicraft texture pack folder
- cmd+A to select everything
- then right click and "Compress as"
- there you go :biggrin.gif:
However I've tried to change the glowstone-cheese-like with the one which look like a glass block with light ; but nothing change in the game. Do you guys know why ?
Someone plz help I im in desperate need..... I have tried to get the alternate looks of pumpkins and doors and stuff but the instructions in the installation are not clear and plz how do I get the Wild grass mod... Plz help I love this pack and plz plz plz i wil lgive u diamonds if u help me to give me a step by step plz thanks
Normally you just need to copy the alt and paste it where the original one is. This should work. You don't need any more than a image editor like Photoshop. Just copy / paste parts of terrain and keep the original .png format.
What exactly is the little building in the top right of the screen ? Whit which blocks did you make it ?
This? It's just a safe house if I'm out at night and can't make it to the top of the little mountain-like thing. And I used the alternate wood color and the alternate glass. ^ ^
