Okay, do you use MCPatcher ? And I install some mods lately too (before issue).
Can I back up my save file and delete minecraft folder then re-install it (maybe) ?
I can't say I'm fond of the new birch texture D:
it looks like the trees are full of holes.
thankfully you left in the old one for us to replace it with! yay!
now I just have to figure out what I'm doing wrong that makes the texture pack not work >:T
the rest of the updates are lovely though <33 love the wolf textures!

note: i'm assuming the problem is to do with replacing the birch texture here. if not, ignore this post.
the terrain.png has to be made of a single bitmap image. That's a problem I always ran into before I realised. If the program you're using lets you, save the modified file as a flattened png.
hope this helps.
yes, I've saved it as a flat png file, I'm under the impression that photoshop only saves flattened png files...
and thanks for the good advice, but I think my problem might be in something else ^^
so I don;t turn this into advice spam, maybe you could have a look at my other thread? :smile.gif:
I made some what I personally think is better looking wool and stone. I've decided to share it with anyone who wants it. I included purple obsidian as an extra. You need paint.net to use these.
I've been a sucker for 32* packs and avoid 16* like the plague but saw this was compatible with Wild Grass, thought ok I'll try it. Bloody lovely! I was so used to grim, "realistic" textures. They can go to hell now, I am sticking with this one for a while I think, it makes me smile so much I dare not take it off.
I will admit I now grave a 32* version of it from you but I know why you are avoiding it, however if you ever do make one, you have an instant user here.
I don't know if it was unintentional or not, but the tamed wolf and its alt are missing their ears. Here's a replacement with ears added, if you guys want it:
(rename it to 'wolf_tame.png' and place it to your pack's mob folder) (wolf_tame_alt.png)
Anyway, this is my first post in the forums and I just want to say that I simply adore this pack! Just one tiny request though: I keep seeing black lines in the water and it has been bugging me! I'm not sure if it's a problem on my end, but I need help getting rid of it. Thanks in advance!
Thanks for this great pack, Andre! I hope you will keep on updating it, because I believe it is one of the best texture packs in here

My guess is that when you tame the wolves, you grant them a little hat that ends up covering their ears which is why they are not visible. It is nice of you to provide an alternative with ears, though.

Looking to use some of the Alternates, and I feel like I'm missing something. The instructions seem obvious enough, but unzipping, replacing the appropriate files, re-zipping doesn't work for me. Though minecraft sees the new, modified zip file, it loads the default pack. I'm on OS X and wondering if I should be using some other utility to getting the modified zip to work... or something...
and don't pay attention to those wanting 32px lol, I too was once like them haha, 16px is what it's all about, even on a 2560x1600 res!
I adore your pack, however, I've got a question. Is the minimal lighting on your Redstone intentional? I'm only getting a tiny square in the center of the redstone wire to light up when it's powered, and I'm not sure if that was the intended aesthetic or not.

When you tame a wolf, you give it a leather bandanna (so you match). The ears are indeed tucked inside.

Something's going wrong when you're zipping. Open my zip. Then open your zip. Then compare the directory structure. I bet your zip has a folder with the files, instead of just the files themselves. You need to make sure the zip structure is readable my Minecraft.

Yup, it's intentional. Think of them as little red indicator lights that let you know the value of the charge that's passing through them. I know, not as obvious as other redstone wires that completely light up, but you can still totally tell if the wire is live or not.

Could you show me a picture of a pug? I have yet to find one, and I want to see it's cuteness.
Create a new world, then run in 1 direction. Keep your eyes open. You'll find a wolf within a few minutes. Trust me, I had to do this many times when I was working on the texture.

I think it's a problem with the texture patcher and applying custom animated water textures. I have yet to see a custom animated water that doesn't have this glitch. Hopefully we can get some official mojang support for this someday.
Omg! You made my favorite dog, a pug! It's so cute ^__^
I was JUST about to make one for myself, then I noticed the creator of my favorite texture pack already had :smile.gif:
Your pack is officially 1000000000x more awesome :3
Thank you for making an amazing texture pack, I admire your very much and your art is fantastic. I am launching a server very soon for my clan and friends and I have made your texture pack a requirement for the server. Hope you don't mind that I have created a page on my website about your texture pack. See it here: http://www.i-xv.co.uk/minecraft/texture-pack/
Holy cow man, this texture pack is EPIC. When I first saw it on the YogsCast during one of Hannah's videos, I was kinda not digging it (must have been the program she was filming w/) cause then I watched an episode for The Crevice, and HOLY DAMN! I just had to look up your pack, and BAM here I am!
Put it simply, this pack is amazing. I love it so much! And your art is INCREDIBLE! Seriously, you do some fantastic work, and it shows that you worked hard and enjoyed making this pack, cause its got nothing but solid love in it! I really appreciate the fact that it is 16x16 as well because my laptop doesnt run MC very well on higher settings, and this pack runs perfectly fine.
Thanks again for all of your hard work, and keep it up! We all love it!
AMAZING pack. :biggrin.gif: It has such a nice rustic vibe and casual, but also whimsical feeling to it. :smile.gif: My favorite components are the candle-like torches, the natural, teal water and the adorable paintings.<3 The download was quick and easy as well, which is always a plus for me, seeing as I'm not a pro when it comes to computers. :B To put it simply, one of the best texture packs I've seen on Minecraft. Keep up the amazing work!! <333
So yes, while this texture pack is still the love of my MC Life and I've been using it ever since I found it what seems like an eternity ago, I still only have these qualms with it:
Gravel: Any chance we could get an alternate gravel? Honestly, I have no idea how else I'd want it to look, but it just doesn't seem to blend in very well with a lot of other things.
Health: Still moderately difficult to tell if it's at a half, or full 'heart,' and if you're looking at snow, than you can't tell how much health you have at all.
Minor qualms I just wanted to bring to your attention, but other than that, still by FAR my favorite pack that I can't ever see me switch from.

I use YouPorn for background music while doing art, totally understandable.
I just wanted to say thanks for giving minecraft your texturepack and your ideas. I use jolicraft exclusively and it has spoiled default for me forever. Thanks

But unfortunately I can't patch Minecraft since the version 1.4_01 is out. Do you guys have the same problem ?

Ohhh I see! Didn't see it that way before X)
And it's a bummer about the black lines. But I can live with that.
Anyway, thanks for replying! I'll keep on using your pack. Everything just looks so...Jolly!
