For those of us who aren't aware, the version release of Jolicraft 2 is a prank, apparently performed in honor of April First, otherwise known as April Fool's Day. It is not a legitimate release, and I imagine it was done for the sake of lighthearted humor. Jolicraft version 2.5 is an actual release, and available on this page if I'm not mistaken.
On a more relevant note, I really enjoy this pack for its whimsical feel and Italian(?) color scheme (it makes me think of Italy for some reason).

Are you guys applying this with the MCPatcher? 2.5 that is. I can't stand the default water now =P. I don't believe the latest patcher applies water mod yet.
I actually like both texture packs. Nice joke. :smile.gif: and i was looking for the original one btw! XD Your terrain back needs some fixing. its kinda screwd up, even with the mcpatcher. ;/

i used the latest MCpatcher and it works...as far as i can tell. jolicraft water and lava is much better :smile.gif:

Jolicoeur: Thanks for the 2.6 update its great! One thing though: I think you forgot to update particles.png to include the heart particle used when taming wolves. With it absent no hearts appear ingame. Its a minor detail that I'm sure you'll fix in the next update! Thanks again for your absolutely awesome work!

Doh. Thanks for the heads up. I'll do another update very soon. I also have a few more alts I'm going to add at the same time. Stay tuned.
Have you considered adding support for Nandonalt's Biome Water and Biome Stone mods? All it would take is a temp/humidity triangle for each. I love the mod, but I'm not too keen on his color choices, and I'd love to see your take on it.
The compass is basically the same thing as the bucket if you look at it, other than that it's cool. It's now my main texture pack :biggrin.gif: I was actually fooled by your prank lol.

I just wanna know if it's me or if it's the update: Just patched JC 2.6 with MC patcher 1.1.12_02 and my torches and flowers have a white square around them instead of being transparent. My glass is also white and opaque, as are the spaces between the rungs on my ladders. I repatched multiple times but it still looks that way. Just me?

Did you perhaps edit the images to use some of the alt textures? If you edit the image in an editor that doesn't support transparency in PNGs (for example, MSPaint), then you would end up with white, opaque areas where things should be transparent.
Try redownloading the pack and see if that fixes it, and if so, try a program like Paint.net or GIMP to edit in the alt textures. :smile.gif:
