i dont think there is anyone on this thread that dosent think the same thing; to be honest though i dont think the customizer is ever going to be a thing, the least you could hope for might be the alternate textures and mix and mash them yourself which isnt too hard once you understand where everything goes...
Greetings folks. Long time huh? Hope you've all been well and stuff. I've obviously moved on to other things in life, but I'll always keep the main version of Jolicraft up to date with the latest version of Minecraft, and it's always nice to come back and visit once in a while. Speaking of which:
Quick note to let you know. SPOOKY JOLICRAFT HAS BEEN UPDATED FOR USE WITH 1.8
With some help from the one and only Braiden Neilson, I've updated jolicraft.com with a working version of Spooky Jolicraft that is compatible with 1.8. There are a few new textures that need to be made and they'll be coming soon. But for now this should do the job. Happy Halloween everyone!
4. Use the "Inspect Element" feature of Chrome to pinpoint the image sources in the code.
5. Save images and manually copy them into the resource pack, overwriting the original files.
Tedious but worth it! Good luck!
If I may ask, why not just attach all of those images here, or re-upload them somewhere and link them, rather than explain how to grab them?
Thanks for this information, but it'd be nicer in this case to have the textures, and not a set of instructions on a tedious process by which to acquire them.
I can't seem to get to the Minecraft Customizer, whenever I try to go to the site, it redirects me to some random ad, anyone know why?
EDIT: I just visited the site's thread, and it's about 2 years old and the newest few posts say the sites down, I'm not sure how some people got textures from their, but it looks like it's no longer functioning.

if you're trying to get to the original website, ofc it won't work...
Not sure how to put this nicely, but...
I'm pretty sure that the comment by genericb says to go to the Web Archive
He seriously even provided a link...
Why do people not read?
I only grabbed a couple of the textures that I prefer from the customizer, and like you said it's a tedious process...too tedious for me to grab all of the alternate textures and upload/link them.
Yes,after checking it out myself (and nearly exploding the computer!), I see why.
I suppose I could download all the textures and put them in my texture archive (which is presently not posted anywhere... /:)
I have a small set of textures mainly for the purpose of preserving that which was removed or never implemented from MC.
Probably will use it to create a small pack to make default a bit more pleasant. (for example, I liked the more blue-ish mob spawners)
I could expand it for archiving some texturepacks and mods, though. I honestly have planned to for a while... lol. That could take me some time, however.

Think that's everything
Thank you. Sorry, I didn't know Generkb had explained it on a previous page, I didn't know his latest comment had something to do with my problem.

you're welcome
That does seem to be a fairly common problem (even I do it)
Still, there are some people who seem to make a career of NOT reading comments/descriptions/FAQ/etc...
(and pulling tl;dr on text-walls carefully written to describe a certain topic)
Gets on my nerves.
Thanks for not over-reacting to, or miss-interpreting my comment!

Have random mobs been fixed?
EDIT: Nope.
How is it possible to achieve a beacon beam as in this picture?
are you thinking of updating the jolicraft snowy christmas texture pack???
You need to use a mod like Optifine or MCPatcher, same goes for the water.

Is this going to be updated to 1.9? I hope so, even after all these years Jolicraft is my One True Resource pack

I really hope Andre will update this, please Andre?
