I know I asked you this a long time ago, and i know you said you would think about it, but considering I've given you over a year to think about it with no response, I'm wondering if your still thinking about it.I asked you to support the connect texture mod quite a while back, considering connect textures are standard in both optifine and mcpatcher now, I am going to ask you to support connected textures. The John Smith texturepack could be used for reference to see what paths to follow and what needs to be updated, I mostly just want it for minecrafts 34 different types of glass, I did some diging around and found some1 who made textures for this texturepack a while back in the old CTM mod thread, here is the download but the path is minecraft/mcpatcher/ctm/block_type_folder/texturespngs.pngNVM, if you want something done you gotta do it yourself.... I'll just get to figuring out this thread now... I'll post my work when i finish.
Edit 2: I did normal glass, I need a full 16x16 texture on colored glass to be able to do colored glass (because the way i started to do it didn't fit) Also A bookshelf with no edges would be nice
I am having an issue with Jolicraft - when placing water into the cauldron, it does not show up, the cauldron stays empty. Not sure if this is known, but I thought I would let it be known. Love the Texture pack.

The water is animated, but vanilla MC doesn't support animation, install optifine or use MCpatcher, or use the customizer and select non animated water.
You've got quite a simple problem. Its a problem that happens in A LOT of older texturepacks. Basically textures have been moved around a lot, in order for mcpatcher (and/or optifine) to properly load random mobs a file had to be created in a different directory then the default one minecraft uses, because minecraft got very very picky which resource packs recently. It will only load a set number of textures in each texture file that is in default minecraft, if there are more, or they are under the wrong name, minecraft itself just ignores them. Its possible to fix this with a large amount of overrides to vanilla code, but a simpler more elegant solution was creating a new directory in which vanilla minecraft has no code over. Some texturepacks failed to properly update out of unknowing. You can simply create the directory, rename the files properly (check out litho's texturepack, for examples on "correct directories",) to get them working again.
Also make sure your including the now required text file in your mcpatcher mobs folder. (http://pastebin.com/kQYnZRW2) otherwise optifine mcpatcher have no idea where the files exist in your texturepack. This is done to reduce lag created by random mobs, if the mod knows there is a set number of random textures, it isn't constantly having to run in the background looking for them.
Sorry for the inconvenience :D. I unfortunately stopped using this texturepack because there's no support for connected textures. I use john smith, lithos, and chroma hills mainly.
BTW, this post took 10 minutes of googling, - before this i knew nothing of random mobs. The internet is a magically thing.
One more question though, I did try to edit the paths of a pack before, and I re-zipped the folder. But after re-zipping it Minecraft didn't see it as a resourcepack anymore, I assumed since it was still a zip file it would work. No idea what went wrong there, I used stuffit (I'm on a mac). Could this because the internal file paths and folders weren't correct?
Think of a zip file as of any other folder on your computer. You can edit it exactly the same. The only thing about a zip file is that everything that goes into it must be compress, and everything that comes out must be uncompressed. You can delete files in it, move them around. when you unzip the file, keep the zipped file around, when you finish making all your moves, copy and paste your version over the zip file.
It could also be because you zipped a folder and not the contents of the folder.
i was wondering what was going on with the snowy pack good to hear thanks
when you go into the texture pack file its outside of the textures folder

And I'll come back soon with an update! Thanks for your patience
Pretty great one
I was planning on doing something similar with my pack, but never got around to it XD
