Fantastic pack. Very unique, smooth, and aesthetically pleasing. Great for building, and overall environment as well. By far one of my favourite texture packs. for you!
My only criticism is that I find gravel too dark. I find it clashes with it's surroundings when it's found naturally. That being said, I still prefer it to the default texture.
Your pack is simply amazing, but would you mind some constructive criticism?
First, i am not a forumer thats saying to change something because I want it now. This is from a person with lots of collective input and minecrafting experience trying to help you make a better pack.
Dirt: Seems out of place with the pack. Everything has a nice quaint happy feel, while dirt seems to be more dark and foreboding
grass: same as dirt, but not nearly to the same extent. maybe a slight color tweak
Smoothstone: Amazing color setting, never thought of that color. However, smoothstone is supposed to be "clean", and is used in multiplayer to generally represent clean and large buildings. Your smoothstone has cracks in it which ruins the appearences of castles and other things made.
OMFG it's so awesome I'm almost ashamed thinking I'm actually building cool things ! The pagoda and the cathedral are just amazing and how did you do the giant tree ??? Do you make plan before building all of this ? How many are you on this server that's sooooo cool. Everyone who asked what's Minecraft is about should see this video.

Personally this pack reminds me most of a Henry Selick film, so I think the dark dirt is a nice thematic contrast.

To be fair, the default stone has varying texture too.

I would disagree with all of your points but this is all subjective. I love the style Jolicraft has given Minecraft with this texture pack. Keep up the awesome work Jolicoeur!!!

I'm not sure how many people... there tends to be different people on depending on the time of day. So it's pretty populous. The tree I think was just made with logs then planted with trees at the top with dirt etc.... Glad you like it. This is just a tiny piece of our server. Once it get's updated for 1.3 I'll probably run through it all and make videos just for something to do with my youtube channel. hah

crosshair: very hard to play with, and the #1 complaint all around. Bad. bad bad bad. Artsy, but bad.

sandstone: the mid texture doesnt look like it belongs.
wheat: it turns neon glowing yellow when ready and burns eyes. what is a nice lush relaxing farm turns into a hectic fast feel.
workbench: only texturepack with tools on top. ruins many patterns on smp where the top is used as a decoration. just to consider.

You can always edit the top yourself if you use workbenches as flooring.
I crafted some paintings to decorate my Minecraft home, and I have to say that the 16p doesn't give justice to your art, Andre. Especially the little ones.
I love the color of the nature with that pack. The grass is perfect. But, after hours of play, I still don't really like the stone texture. The color is good but not the texture itself in my opinion. Same about sandstone.
But I know 16p is not easy.

Yeah that's what I do, I use the top of TNT for the top of my workbenches. I also take the top of the new sandstone and use it as my side, since the new one makes my Outpost house look like crap. lol... but I also like it more the old one, because it looks more natural, minus the new side of course (for building purposes).

This shows that this needs to happen. Packs should all have a resemblance, because if somebody makes something pretty, you should be able to enjoy it, and not say "eww my pack makes it look ugly" or "one sec gotta change packs...again"
These are a few things that I would really loved changed by default.

Beautiful. I can't believe such great submissions all around, and the contest has only been up for a day.
Thanks man! And thanks again for letting me use your icons, they're art in themselves.

great work on doing this joli, thanks!
I actually like the bright wheat. That's one thing that drew me to this pack. I saw it in the screenshots and thought it looked neat.
edit: i'm guessing quotes don't work anymore?

I'm having the same problem here, mediafire is giving me problems with this download.
No. He just said use his texture pack. Doesn't have to be up to date, just has to be his pack.
