Nice creative interface! Love it! The tripwires are good, but, as iverySlowHand pointed out, the "Emerald Blocks Eh?" are actually the chest texture modified. Is that intentional? I hope not.
It's not intentional, he just hasn't added an emerald block texture yet. The reason it looks like the chest is because the emerald block texture is saved in the spot where the old, obsolete chest texture was.*
*When the chest model was changed in beta 1.8, its texture was moved to a separate file.
Could you have pictures of the snapshot update once you are completely finished with it, because I have this thing where I dont download the snapshots.
I like the look of Jolicraft but (now granted i cant play with it yet as at the time of this post i am at a library) i want it in a 32x32 or 64x64 since my current computer can handle (with optifine) up to 64x64. So if your reading this andrejolicoeur please release atleast a 32x32 version of jolicraft as many more ppl would use the pack if it was atleast a minor HD pack

Once when I was young I pushed a toothpick into my ear and it went all the way in and didn't come out. I've not been quite right since then.

like fruitman said andre will NEVER make a higher rez pack and i dont see why he should its great just the way it is and it actually looks better than any higher rez back ever will making it a higher rez would just completely ruin the back so ppl pls stop asking him to do a higher rez one because he has enough work as is and doesnt need any more

The reason I was checking out the main post in the first place is that I wanted to ask/suggest/request that you put a link to the 64x paintings somewhere up there so there's actually a place where people can find them. Currently the only link is buried in this thread.
I couldn't help but notice on the pictures it show a diamond pickaxe and i really like it. Is there any was i can download jolicraft with those diamond tools. Insead of the those other ones.

Go to "downloads→version history" and get version 3.0. Obviously the pack won't be up-to-date, but if you're handy with editing packs you can 'shoop the items into your current version.
Love this pack, one the first I ever used however the only thing in my opinion which kets me down is ghast texture but apart from that one of the best packs out there!
Try the red jelly one, I like that one the best, the picture in the customiser doesnt show it off for what it is.

Just Updated all packs for latest Snapshot. Some things aren't final yet. I'm not sure about emerald blocks, and I suspect Mojang will change the trading interface so I didn't spend much time on that. But for now, enjoy!

Why don't you use the font on the front page of this topic (eg. ("tools" "swirly smoke" "biomes" etc.) for the Jolicraft font in Minecraft? I thought it would be really cool...
I tried. I couldn't figure out a way to convert the font so that it looked alright in Minecraft. Minecraft turns all fonts into bitmaps, which means jaggy edges, and that font couldn't be read at any resolution I tried. If anyone knows a way to convert fonts and would like to give it a try, the font I use is http://ufonts.com/fonts/2peas-empire-dress.html.

Sigh. He has already said he will NOT do 32x32 or 64x64 versions of Jolicraft. There is a fan made one available though.
