Ta-dah! I know I asked you guys for ideas on the drawing, but I went with a simple portrait. Took me like 15 minutes, which in comparison to my Patrick Stewart Portrait, which took around 3 hours, is really fast. It's actually really fast for me in general. And it's probably the best real life based drawing I've done. Made me far more confident in drawing faces, which is usaually my weakness.

I'm glad you liked it Andre. I'm gonna make a new thread tonight probably with all my fave pics etc. in there, so look out for that. Sorry about the distortion on the pic as well; I was using my webcam, whcih I can only use to to take a facebook profile pic strangely, so I had to hold it up in front of my laptop. Took me like 5 tries to get it so you could read the writing.
But anywho...
Also, I've seen you wooden Canvas thingy tutorial, and you've inspire to put down my pencils, which are my prefered medium, and pick up the brush once more. Thank you Sir! I should probably get to school now...

Nice! I like the simplicity, and innocence of it; contrasts starkly to my detailed, gritty aproach.
This is sort of like a domino effect; I made some fan art, and I now I bet you there are gonna be like another 5 or so pics. But Andre deserves it.
And I think you nailed it; we say Joli, and we think art, but we must remember the man, or sometimes woman, behind the art. Spot on.

My name is Jolicoeur, so I called it Jolicraft. It's pronounced "Jolly Craft" by the way. My name means "Happy Heart", so I guess Jolicraft means "Happy Craft".
