Can anyone upload a zip format with the terrain.png posted by Mikelive, cause on my Mac I can't make a ziped texture pack without it being "unknown" ?
here the .png
Thanks by advance.
EDIT : moreover I'm playing on a Tundra biomes type, and I don't understand what's the 1.9 version is about.
I use a Mac myself :smile.gif:. The files have to be at the "root" of the zip file - zipping the folder won't work. Go into the folder you want to zip, select all files, right-click, and choose Compress. I will upload a new terrain.png based on 1.9 shortly.
EDIT: Here it is! It's based on the terrain_alt.png for biome support.
I also just registered to tell you that this is my favorite pack thus far. Many thanks for taking the time to make one (and sticking to 16x16 :wink.gif: )

It seems like a lot of items, including tools, have gone back to "default." I just downloaded 1.9. :sad.gif:
Same here. I looked into the 1.8 zip files but can't seen them either... hmmm.
---edit---
It's just the items.png, located in the GUI folder, that's missing from 1.9. Check the 1.8 download to find it.
I have always loved "JoliCraft" I am very pleased you updated. What is the music in the video"Quick look at JoliCraft" from?
I took a tour of your Gallery Online, I love your style. I do some painting, but I mostly do Papier Mache. Keep up the great work.
ok so i just downloaded the latest version of the texture. And all the tools have gone back to the reg minecraft texture. So if i'm doing somthing wrong let me know so i can fix it.

Andre forgot to add the items.png in the latest version. If you download 1.8, you can take the items.png from there and put it into the 1.9 zip folder =)

You'll be surprised by how few people actually put a bathroom in their house. Where else would you ****? Where else?

I was just about to ask about that. I just downloaded this pack today to give it a try. Thanks.

Thanks a lot very easy fix looks a lot better!
Thanks.
I love the pack, never thought 16p could look so good.
The only things I don't like are the ores (I feel the shapes of the resources within the stone are too regular and should appear more natural in my opinion), and the lava (the glowing cracks are too monotone and the dark chunks the cracks surround are too dark; I feel the whole lava texture should be more vibrant and bright in general (in my opinion)).
Those are my thoughts, you may noticed that I stressed how these are merely my humble opinions because that's all they are.
Thanks for the pack, bro, and you definitely get an A+ for presentation in the OP.
EDIT: Oh, and regarding the pumpkin texture: WILSOOOOOOOOON!
I LOVE this texture pack. It is wonderfully done, and presents a very cheerful atmosphere to the game (even when I'm getting raped by skellies and creepers while mining Dx).
My only issue with it, is the redstone. Powered redstone is very difficult to see, unless you look directly at it from fairly close.
Here's an example: Where powered redstone is at the top, and unpowered is at the bottom.
I believe it might be because you made the redstone black and red on the terrain.png Redstone portion of 1.9 terrain.png
instead of white-ish, like the default. Could be because of the ridiculous way Minecraft loads color for redstone. Just wanted to point that out, because I use redstone a lot and want to be able to see it =)

This cannot be helped, unfortunately, with the new way Minecraft loads the color on redstone. Even if you make it completely white in the texture, it will still turn pure red when the wires are on, and pure black when off.

Somewhat newb question, though - I started using the biome-friendly terrain.png, and everything is just grayscale now. What am I doing wrong?
Also noticing that the tools are back to defaults.
nevermind i found out lol, blue rock and red dirt = wierd
Thanks.

It's in the gui folder.
EDIT: As heebsy found the issue, I am removing the link that I posted. No harm, no foul =)
Thanks though.

This is a severe limitation for artists, making it nearly impossible to come up with something that looks good at all. I think André came up with a an elegant solution considering this limitation.
Anyway way, I don't like this change either, so I made a topic about it in the suggestion forum. Feel free to check it out: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=191247
If enough artists complain about this, maybe Notch will consider changing it.
