Loved this texturepack for a long time <3 I think you are probably one of the greater texture pack creators, not only because of the general awesomeness of the pack, but you dont use ADL.fy and spam us multiple links. Your photo samples are epic too :3

I wonder if you speak french because I speak french. You say joli means happy but it more likely means Pretty or nice.
Those 2 words perfecly define the pack. Joli coeur means nice heart, someone with a nice heart is happy and makes other happy. Then your name defines your pack and a bit of you because playing with Joli craft makes me happy.
The character skin is incredibly detailed. I love the look of the animals. The dirt on the pig :biggrin.gif:
In french I would say "Joli travail" meaning nice work.
The only thing that doesnt makes me very happy is replacing golden and diamond armor by accessories. I believe you could've make it look like an amazing king. But at this point I understand it may be a personal artistic choice. And the way it is, it doesn't look bad and it is unusual, unexpected and original. And after all I have the possibility to customize it.

Yeah same here theese are the only problasm I have with jolicraft : Diamond and Gold armors to be more liek armos AND Chickens to look like Chickens :/
Which is why you use the customizer lol. There's a normal chicken skin.

When you use the customizer you may change the black duck to a brown chicken.
In the wild you would more likely see brown chicken. In that logic you would not meet pig in the wild but boar. And I'm not too sure about wild cows... Well they wouldn't be black and white but I like it a lot that way.
Personaly I don't mind about chicken looking like a duck because in fact it has both properties of duck and chicken. The only thing it can't do is start flying far away.
In the way I see things in minecraft the "chicken" doesn't only represent a chicken it represent any bird of that size.
I guess when you point at the meat it drops, it says chicken meat... we should have a moder change it to bird meat.
Also about the armor I'm a bit sad because ther is no alternate armors. That would be a great thing to add.

I don't speak french, but I'm the only one in my family who doesn't. It's a french Canadian thing. Like, we say "je suis jolie" to say "I'm happy". I've had many folks point that out here on the forum, but my whole life I've had people say "Jolicoeur. 'Happy heart', right?", so I'm pretty sure it's just a regional thing.
And I will be doing some alternate armors at some point, sit tight :wink.gif:

On a server I play on there is an abondoned and spooky village. It was my first time using Joliween, and I went to that village, really spooky place, even more so with joliween. Just as night was coming I turn around and spot an enderman staring at me through a broken window. That made me jump a little. I'm really loving the joliween update.

My MC channel is in my sig. This isn't my first let's play. I've done quite a few lmao, so you can see how I play and record.

One problem though.
Minecraft's cheery music ruins the atmosphere.
But it also makes the banshee screech that caverns make 10 times more unnerving.

I'm french canadian from Montréal. But I never heard anyone using joli as happy. Most of the time it's used like that "La jolie fille" meaning "the pretty girl". Or something pleasant. But anyway you can continue to use it as happy. Specially for happy heart that is a better translation than pretty heart. Also I just realized that jolly is an english word meaning happy, right ? It could come from there.
I'm glad to hear you consider making armors ! I will be patient and allow you all the time you need. I know it will be worth it.
