Im just going to make a list of the textures that need to be modified (imo)
I'm not bashing or anything btw. I love this pack, but a few things need some changing so the textures flow better.
1.Ores
I think all the ores should have the similar style. mainly the iron, lapis, and redstone blocks stick out like a sore thumb where the coal, gold, and diamond look normal. Maybe you could also add a little depth around the colored parts. (just my thought)
2. Lava
The colors are a bit hard on the eyes. It's hard to describe XD
3. Grass blocks
Maybe the dark to light gradient isn't the best look for them. It still gives it a cut-off feel. If there's some grass on the side they would look great.
4. Smooth stone
I like the simplistic feel too it (used to use the clean designs pack), but it has an unfinished feel to it. Like if you build a house with smooth stone and stand back it just doesn't look right for some reason.
5. Clay
Maybe give it more of a different color that doesn't blend with sand too much. I almost walked past clay a few times when walking on the beach. I kinda like the idea with the painterly pack where you can give it a completely different color like a brown/crimson color like red clay.
Everything else is fantastic. LOOOOVE the wool and water textures.
All of this input is from me and 3 of my friends. We've been using your pack since 1.1

I cannot express any word for this pack. Very awesome work, easily one of the best 16p textures out there (for me).
I'm not sure what you mean by tiny piece of wood, unless you're talking about the sign posts at the foot of the bed and next to the pillow. In that case, they're sign posts. :tongue.gif:
Okay I don't see the pole of the sign post that's why I was asking. And what about the white pieces of stone to make
the pillow ? You use them a lot (like in you road) and I find this very cool. Can you teach me please ?
An outstanding texture pack, without question, and one that will remain in my texture pack rotation for some time. Great work, OP.
A tiny, almost infinitesimal criticism, however: if the moon is a sphere, we shouldn't be able to see stars through it. That is, the dark part of the moon is (presumably) in shadow, but it's still there, yes? It looks like there are one or two stars that should be removed.
Like I said, the tiniest of criticisms, and one that you should probably just reply to with "Fix it yourself, jackass!"

Well when you place the sign on halfblocks there is no signpole. Also the pillows are cloth, but the stuff in the road (I am assuming you're talking about outside) are half blocks.
This is hawt! Love it and the art on your website! It would be really cool to see minecraft in that style as well. For now, I am very content with this pack :smile.gif:
Hey, I love the texture pack, but when I try to boot Minecraft with it installed, the game hangs! (Black screen, program stops responding)
Is there any way I can remedy this?

Not sure. I'm not good at troubleshooting mods & texture patcher problems. Are you using the ingame texture selector?

I am indeed. I put the Jolicraft .zip folder directly into the texture pack folder, same as any other 16 bit pack.

It's the launcher. Everyone is having this problem.
At first, I liked the pack, but not enough to love it. But as I saw the showmanship that went into showcasing it... I couldn't help but download. It looks absolutely great.
To anyone making a pack right now, keep that in mind... I hate the topics that only have a video or a few screenshots along with it. If you really want people to download your pack, make the post look good otherwise your pack won't look good.

Exactly. As with anything, you need to sell it. Exercise the same creativity that you put into creating the pack when you create your thread. If you convince people it looks good before they have a chance to decide then they'll think they came up with that notion on their own :wink.gif:
I must say, this pack is beyond perfect, however, i do have a few suggestions and queries
1. The top of the grass and the smoothsone have tiling issues (not that severe but still noticeable)
2. when there is snow on the grass and you whack the snow off then the blades of the grass shift up a bit (this is due t to you making the profile view of the snowy grass have snow on top)
3. The lava for me is a bit too vibrant
4. are you going to add biome support? (that would be awesome)
I hope that these points help you make the pack better and finally I really think that Notch should consider hiring you, this pack is AMAZING

I'm not using any mods, other than a patched 32 bit version of Glimmar's Steampunk texture pack (Which doesn't really count as a mod I suppose)
