My first texture pack!
I'm not so good at pixel art, but always wanted to try.
So...
From left to right...
Top Grass, Side Grass, Dirt, Stone, Cobble, Bricks, Top/Bottom Wood, Side Wood, Planks.
Hope it looks acceptable, and sorry for the lack of sceenshots.
I want more tiles before I go there, plus this was made on a computer that can't run minecraft.
Will be more in the future!

Textures are ok OP, nothing really special or interesting, but I guess they don't suck ass.
Try going for a specific style or something, right now it looks like a basic color edit of the original.
This is only my first attempt, so thats kinda what it is...

So my advice to you Willster, do not give up on making texture packs if you know you have a niche at it, or even a passion in pixel art.
Perhaps the condition of this texture pack, if you can call it a texture pack, needs to be more clean-cut before being uploaded, or it will have the first page decorated with colorful language and what not.

That isn't specific to the context if someone just says "This sucks ass" sure it may be their opinion but that's not constructive in any way.
If you don't like something people should either move along or try to be more constructive. TBH I just ignore people in my threads that go "This is awe-full the colours are weird" because there are so many things wrong with statements like that.

On Topic: For your first like many will say, you need more practice and as stated before dont give up and keep trying. Although your first its not bad looking. If I may what are you using to do your textures?
Even so it might be your first I'm sure if you ask around you can gain tips on making more "realistic/un-realistic" depending on who answers you. But all and all it still looks good.

Owned, I like the pack but you should go with a theme, or color them how you want them to turn out.
