Hi I'm new here but I've been playing Minecraft for a while now and once day i decided to make a texture pack :biggrin.gif:
This pack is based off Moontrain's Lucid Pack as I used his pack for quite a while.
I liked the idea of a "flat" looking texture pack and when i first found Moontrain's it was just awesome, so then i made this one.

Border-less Edition
As requested i have removed the border from blocks such as grass, clean stone, wools, etc.

Items
All wood, stone, iron and diamond tools have been replaced and are in the downloadable .zip files. Here is the .png
This texture does have custom water, however it is just a lower opacity water that is one colour and has arrows showing the direction of flow.
Constructive Criticism is very welcome as i want to be able to improve this pack as much as i can, but as it is based off Moontrain's pack the updates for this pack may follow suit in updates from him.

I like the name Soft Pack but if anyone else already has a texture pack under this name please tell me so,
Haha of course Euphoria's is better, this is more of a personal project. I didn't plan on releasing this but i thought i might as well to see what people want. I do like the idea of making this a full fledged texture pack, with full items, GUI and everything.
I really think the colour's in this pack are great, but i do think you should try to make it more unique as there are about 6 billion packs with almost the same style

The only thing I could suggest you change is that maybe you could get rid of the outlines between blocks?
Otherwise this is a nice texture pack. Good work!

That would certainly make it stand out more...

That would certainly make it stand out more...
That sounds like an interesting idea, i'll definitely look into developing that later, but for now i want to try stick to the "flat" scheme for a while.
As for what i have planned,
Remove the outlines from blocks (or at least make them less noticable) and upload an alternate;
Add some custom GUI and items, the health bar is looking mighty interesting too;
Finish off the blocks (mainly nether blocks).

The border-less alternate of the texture has been released, sooner or later one of the two will be discontinued so please help me by responding to the poll.
The blocks found in the nether have been updated, along with cake and pumkins.
hmmm, the borderless version didn't look as good as i though it would. Do you think you could try a version with a border but like 'reduced' so you can only just see it? That is , of course, if you don't mind doing it.
Anyway liking this texture pack. Keep it up!

Nice texture pack, I can tell this is probably your first texture pack considering I have seen this design 100 times before, Even I made a texture pack like this when i started. Even though this is one of 1000 simple packs out there something stands out in this pack from all the others, and that is up for you to find out. If you want pixel art lessons send me a message.

Yeah thats what I was thinking, I'll probably do it, it just means theres 3 alternates of the pack so that might go a bit strange, at least I'll go for a balance between both and just have one with a really delicate border.

Yeah this is my first pack, I was sorta too lazy to go find one that was similar to this so I made it and based it on moontrain's cause that pack was just amazing to me. Although I am keen on making a more high res and original pack later on, so lessons may be nice. All i have in my background is creating fire emblem sprites. If there was any way that I could make this stand out, even more than others I would be more than happy to do it. But thanks. I'll pm you when I have time.
