You're offering a separate version for server admins to find hidden stuff, where as anyone can simply use / modify any of the other 400 "xray" packs to see the same things. I see.
Cino - Pretty much, yeah, if you're talking about chests and only chests. They could also modify this one to do the same, if they know how. In other words, I can't really do anything to stop griefers from finding your chests and stealing from them if you play on servers that don't use chest-locking mods, and they're REALLY determined to do whatever it takes to steal from you. (But, by that same logic, neither can the mods/admins/owner of the server since, if you're playing on a server that doesn't even have basic chest-protecting plugins, chances are that it doesn't have many/any other plugins that make it easier for the mods/admins/owner of a server to look out for the other players of said server.)
Well, unless they don't know how to make x-ray packs of their own/edit terrain.png using a program that maintains transparency, in which case, yes, I've effectively stopped them- at least with my own pack; and let's face it, does the average griefer really seem like they know how/are willing to take the extra time to modify this pack to better suit their needs? Of course not. But for the ones who do know what to do and are willing to take the time to do it, what I can do is make it more of a hassle for them to give you a hard time. And I have.

I really like what i see but i have a smallll issue.. i follow the steps, slowly.. cut drag and drop to texturepacks x-it out of everything ---> log into minecraft-----> 'Mods and texture packs'----> no texture pack 8O
WAT ARE I DUUING WRAWNG!? but on a side note it looks great! i dont know how soon you could reply but if there's a quick fix to this problem (like i have to DL something like winrar or some major step i did not catch onto) it would be great to get word back from you
OH OH also in the directions does "place the blah blah in the space above" mean to drag and drop all the files into the area where the default texture pack is found?

I like this texture pack A LOT... but the biggest problem is that chests look like cobblestone. I am not trying to steal from chests, but I find it difficult to find chests, especially in dungeons. It is still absolutely amazing!

About the dungeons, don't mind- it's not possible for chests to spawn inside the floor, so the chests will always be the 1-2 blocks of cobblestone sticking out of the ground. :3 Also, please note that it's possible to find a dungeon with 0 chests in it, similar to how you can kill a pig but get 0 porkchops.
Glad to see that there is a working xray texture pack. I was going to download the new version of the xray mod that I use, but it was discontinued for some reason, so thanks for making this.
