NOTE TO SELF: Seriously, stop being lazy and get to work on that64x64 pack, or however large y'wanna make it
EDIT: Initial testing has been a huge success; all that's left to do is continue converting the rest of the images, one at a time, including all of the necessary Tekkit and TerraFirmaCraft ones, to fit the 64x quality. Decided to go with 64x instead of 128x since 64x already offers staggeringly thin lines for dirt, stone, etc. This will likely take at least 4 hours.
Vanilla changes
Made an optional, alternative 64x64 version of Strongestcraft Plus, aptly named SCP64 (Strongestcraft Plus 64)
Made many things in SCP 64 more transparent than would be wise to make 'em in SCP (Strongestcraft Plus)
Edited the number 7 by one pixel in both versions of SCP
Fixed dry farmland's transparent section being misaligned by one pixel in both versions of SCP
Gave default emerald ore a new texture in both versions of SCP
Made bamboo a tiny bit more transparent in both versions of SCP
Made snow tiles at least 2x more transparent in both versions of SCP
Made spiderwebs a tiny bit more transparent in both versions of SCP
Made the first two growth stages of netherwart easier to spot in both versions of SCP
Made the sides of enchanting tables more transparent in both versions of SCP
Might've made water and lava 75% transparent only in SC64, depending on your animated water/lava settings
Removed that one floating pixel over wild grass that wasn't supposed to be there in both versions of SCP
Tekkit changes
Fixed solid sapphire blocks being 4 pixels too solid in both versions of SCP
Made blast door windows a little more transparent in both versions of SCP
Made reinforced windows a little more transparent in both versions of SCP
Made solid cubes of bronze, copper, emerald, ruby, sapphire, tin and both kinds of uranium a little more transparent in both versions of SCP
TFC changes
Added a countdown timer to all the new plants in both versions of SCP
Added all the new sand blocks and made them transparent in both versions of SCP
Made all cobblestone 2x more transparent in SCP64
Made all dirt 4x more transparent in SCP64
Made all leaves 4x more transparent in SCP64
Made ladders transparent in both versions of SCP
If you have any suggestions to make this texture pack even better, let me know!
Sorry, but each and every ore is already as visible as would be wise to make them, with things like diamonds, uranium in Tekkit and all metal ores in TFC 100% solid. It's impossible for me to adjust how bright they appear - that would involve modifying lines of code, which I am no good at.
Working on texture packs is comprised almost entirely of zooming in on pictures, modifying a few pixels, saving the pack, going in-game, looking at the textures you modified, thinking to yourself whether you think you can make them a little better or if they're perfect the way they are now, and repeating until you're done with every texture you wish to modify. No coding modified anywhere, which makes it much easier to install and makes this a texture pack, not a mod!

As in, the ores, they could still have the effect of being more noticeable, but also giveing it a design, like other packs, but with the concept still the same.
Eh. To me, that's how it already is - stylised in my own way, using a simple system of symbols for ore, cloth, solid cubes (iron, diamond, gold, emerald, those sorts of cubes) and other things. Still, thanks for the advice!
Just wanted to say I love this texture pack :3! But recently when ever I try to download it ( both the normal version and the 64x one) I get lead to media fire, then a pornography site pops up. Could you check it out and please fix it soon? Ty <3
Ps. I noticed you switched to 'Adref', do you not prefer Adfly? Forgive me for asking, but I wish to know.
Edit, Sept. 16th: ADREF.CO IS A SCAM WEBSITE. On the surface, they appear to provide the exact same services as adf.ly, but with a 3x higher payout. In reality: ADREF DOESN'T PAY YOU A SINGLE CENT FOR THE WORK YOU'VE DONE FOR THEM, EVER, AND WILL NEVER RESPOND TO ANY OF YOUR MESSAGES, ANYWHERE.
On that note: Yeah, I'm permanently sticking with adf.ly, unless I find something legitimate in the future that's even better.
Well, that's the thing. In a normal world, what stands out more to someone using Strongestcraft; random cave tunnel #342, or that one rectangular prism area that's solid because someone chose to build there and arrange those blocks in that way? If you did that, you'd be making yourself literally *hundreds* of times more noticeable, not less. Still, to answer your questions, 100% solid blocks include:
Cacti (However, they don't fully, 100% take up an entire 1 block space; that's how they are by default)
Chests (However, they don't fully, 100% take up an entire 1 block space; that's how they are by default)
Cracked stone bricks
Diamond ores (But not solid blocks made out of 9 diamonds crafted together)
Dispensers
Furnaces
Melons
Mossy cobblestone
Mossy stone bricks
Netherwart
Pumpkins
TNT
Workbenches

So, basically, if a griefer using this pack comes along, my only defense is to build within the confines of a stronghold and hope he doesn't find my rooms while he explores the stronghold. Gotcha.
That's the opposite of what I'm saying. Anyone using SCP/SC64 would be able to see a stronghold from 200+ blocks away, and would instantly be drawn to it for how unusually solid it is. You're best off building with normal, transparent blocks that blend in with their surroundings, like wooden planks, logs, cobblestone, smooth stone, stone slabs, normal stone bricks, etc.

Ultimately, your only defense on an SMP server is the competence level of the Mods/Admin, and if they are willing to keep an eye on people. As an Admin, I have used this texture pack alone to track/identify potential griefers. Coupled with good plugins that give mining alerts, anyone should be able to minimize risks to their server players.
Suggestions that may be of use;
Don't light up the area surrounding your main base, and close off unused areas
Other than exposed ores, don't mine around your base
Use a light source that can be switched off (red/glowstone switch?) when you leave (Get in/out quickly, and mobs should be minimal)
Create/expand tunnels above and around your base (don't leave torches) that will partially mask your main work area
Put water/lava flows in those tunnels (example pics in OP)
And finally...
Install the texture pack so you know what the griefer will be seeing, and adjust the above suggestions accordingly
Botton line: The larger your underground footprint is, the more likely you will be targeted. You would be amazed how far away strip mines can be spotted.
Hope this helps!

Added the new charcoal block, left it completely solid since it's one of those valuable ones you'll want to see as soon as possible
