I would, but then you wouldn't be able to see through your home to see when a creeper's waiting right beside your door. The way it is now, you can still easily find mine shafts from the surface by just looking down on those perfectly horizontal, 3x3 tunnels underground, often with solid chest blocks inside them.

Absolutely not! Since all the information is 100% clientside, the server has no way of knowing what texture pack you're using. I usually use words like "usually," "probably" and "almost certainly" to avoid lumping things into 0%/100% categories, but let me be firm on this. It is absolutely impossible for a multiplayer server to have an understanding of what texture pack you're using. However, if you're being obvious about how you're using it, (I.E. digging tunnels straight to diamond ores in pitch black darkness without placing torches), mods may teleport to you and realize what you're doing.

Impossible, since they draw directly from the stone texture. They *are* visible, though, you just gotta look more carefully.

Oh, well that was easy to find out. I'm so darn popular, my Dropbox has been temporarily disabled. I hope this doesn't last much longer! Also, can anyone recommend a new file uploading site to use in the meantime that can work in conjunction with adf.ly? Mediafire, unfortunately, stopped working a couple of months ago.
