Strongestcraft's been updated! I've added those new blocks I forgot about, made 'em transparent, made a stone texture from 1.1 transparent and made netherwart easier to find by adding a clashing color of solidity to it for each of its three growth stages. Enjoy! As always, let me know what you think about this texture pack - if you've got even a single suggestion, post it here!
just downloaded the pack, and i like it. Only problem is that the moss stone still has the original texture, not the one specified in the notes on the first post
Oh, whoops. What does it say moss stone is on the first post, and could you please quote the exact spot? I'd like to keep mossy cobble solid anyway so that dungeons are easier to find.
Ok, so in your opening post, there are pictures of moss stone as a solid green color, like this http://i.imgur.com/WhDrJ.png. While the pack did help me find the dungeons easyer, none of the moss stone was anything other then the original minecraft texture of the pack like this http://www.minecraft.../Moss_Stone.png
Oh yeah. I changed it back since they're both 100% solid blocks anyway; one is a texture no one recognizes, the other is a texture people instantly recognize, so I figured it'd be more beneficial to use the normal texture for it instead.
Tar - Does the mod tell you which way north, south, east and west are just by looking at the sun or moon? Does the mod tell you when your wheat is done fully growing? Does the mod allow you to make things appear much brighter while wearing night vision pumpkin helmets? I think not
"I've seen videos where people turn x-ray texture packs on and off with the press of a button. How do I do that?"
Those aren't texture packs, those are actually modifications to the client they're using. My texture pack simply edits the appearance of various things- what they're using involves modifying lines of code to change how the game renders blocks on your screen. My texture pack offers only edited images, not edited lines of code; it cannot be toggled on/off while in-game.
Optifine can change texture packs in game, just not while playing, it's in the menu under options, but you don't have to leave the game, Thus, the editing to make it seem like they're using a keystroke to do it is a little less fancy.
It removes black fog, but it doesn't prevent the blue background from turning black at a depth of 62 and below, unfortunately. That aside, you'd have to ask on the OptiFine thread.
