Strongestcraft's been updated! I've added the new blocks, made the ones that are currently available in-game, (Redstone lamps), transparent, made redstone more solid since it just got more useful, made coal a few pixels more transparent, added a 50% alpha layer to lava in the terrain.png. Enjoy! As always, let me know what you think about this texture pack - if you've got even a single suggestion, post it here!
I can't see the transparency in your texture pack at all. It just looks broken. I'm running the latest minecraft (no mods) at 1 FPS right now but that probably isn't a problem...
Also, I have a fix for not being able to display special ores. just copy and paste the original texture over the pictures for the ores you have. Well, this might not work, I can't see the transparency on the pack I edited or the original one I downloaded.
Strongestcraft's been updated! I've added one more block I missed, made it transparent, made those new leaves transparent too. Enjoy! As always, let me know what you think about this texture pack - if you've got even a single suggestion, post it here!
Sid - Heh, yeah, I just caught that five minutes ago when I looked at a tree in an SMP server. Still, thanks for your help!
Zero - It's definitely gotta be a problem with something on your end. Since you say you've downloaded no mods, it's probably something you edited yourself. I think you copied and pasted the original textures in something like MSPaint or a similar program, then saved it. Programs like that register those white areas as... Well, white areas. In Gimp and other programs, they're properly identified as being 100% transparent, deleted areas, not white areas. I hope this helped!
So I edit it in gimp? Anyway, I tried your original texture pack too so I don't know what's wrong... Okay, I just found out I didn't. Sorry...
I'll just download the new one on my computer that can actually play minecraft, edit it with gimp to show ores and see if it works. (Gimp is way too complicated >_>)

"I've seen videos where people turn x-ray texture packs on and off with the press of a button. How do I do that?"
Those aren't texture packs, those are actually modifications to the client they're using. My texture pack simply edits the appearance of various things- what they're using involves modifying lines of code to change how the game renders blocks on your screen. My texture pack offers only edited images, not edited lines of code; it cannot be toggled on/off while in-game.
Actually, as you can see from the date, I started work on this back in the fall of 2010, (Making it impossible for me to copy something that came at a later date), and have added more features to this than "X-ray pro" or any other x-ray texture pack has. Therefore, objectively speaking, mine is the best, and also "actually shows the ores." :> And while we're on the subject of copying, I've actually been the victim of that. I've found users who've literally taken old versions of Strongestcraft, modified only one or two of the textures, left all the rest of my work in and called it theirs. Oh well.

Curse PremiumCalmTiger - Thanks for your support!
As you can see, its currently blank to the left of the cauldron. Just thought you should know.
