Breez - Thanks, and I hope you continue to enjoy it!
Gritz - Could you please remove the link in your post? I got into a huge argument about this EXACT same issue with another user in this same thread, and I don't want to have a repeat of that again. Thank you. :smile.gif: Also, since I don't think beds are widely used as a building material, I'm keeping them solid, unless a large number of players also express interest in making them transparent- same reason I kept furnaces, workbenches, dispensers, etc. visible.
Dave - Nope! Mob spawners and mossy cobblestone look exactly the same as they do by default in both texture packs! Enjoy! :3
Edit: All upcoming texture packs that I had planned/in the works won't be worked on until I figure out why my default terrain.png, extracted directly from minecraft.jar itself, is glitched/bugged/encountering a peculiar error. I've tried many, many things to try and get it to work, tried searching through Google in many different ways, tried making threads about it on the forums, asked friends who also make texture packs about this issue, all with no luck. I've dedicated at least ten hours to trying to resolve this issue over the past several days, but have made virtually no progress in figuring out what the problem is or how to fix it.
In brighter news, editing these two existing texture packs seems to work just fine. For now, at least.
Edit2: Wow, after 5+ days of not saying a word, right after I finally decide to complain about it in this thread, THEN I find a solution for it with no help from anyone. Such is life.
Edit3: Whoo! :3 Thanks to finally figuring out what the problem is- I never found out why it was a problem, but at least now I know what the problem IS, even if I don't understand it; at least now, I can avoid using it- I "completed" an upcoming texture pack! Technically, it's ready to be released, but there are still two things I need to learn. 1: How to rename items to have different names. 2: How to modify the grayscale to allow the red smoke effects when mining redstone ore to be completely transparent. ... Aaand as soon as I finished typing that sentence, a neat idea struck me for another texture pack. Really need to figure out how to do those two things.
Hi :biggrin.gif: This looks really great, but on a mac it seems the instructions, are a little messed up, the readme.txt doesn't help AT ALL. Please help :biggrin.gif:

Ah, sorry, I don't own a Mac, so I more or less had to copy and paste the instructions from someone else, someone who I thought owned one. I'll see what I can do, but since I don't own one to work with one directly, I can't promise any results. However, from watching videos on this before, I'm pretty sure that Mac users only need to extract all the files in the .zipped texture pack of your choice in the same folder they placed minecraft.exe.
Thanks for reply, but this pack doesn't come with a zipped file, so its impossible to do that D:
Wait, what? ._.; The entire pack is, itself, a .zip file. For mac users, I think it all needs to be extracted, whereas for everyone else, it needs to all stay .zipped up. Just downloaded each of my own files to confirm it. They're both .zips.

:biggrin.gif: love the video! I'm recommending this pack to all my friends It's the best I've seen yet.
and I use a mac for minecraft, the packs stay zipped to be used.
Oh, alright! For anyone using a mac and having trouble with getting the pack to work, I'd say go with agentjwall's advice! And thanks, agentjwall, I appreciate it!
It's amazing how people think this isn't cheating.
You can read the F.A.Q./Concerns section for information against this, specifically, the portion titled "The Iron Pickaxe Section" near the bottom. If you feel you have a valid argument to state that utilizes only facts, not opinions, that I haven't already provided a counterargument against, then I'd be glad to hear more about this from you, after you take the time to read through the F.A.Q. Thank you. :smile.gif:

It would be exploiting at the very least. But yeah, it's cheating.
But hey, if that makes people happy...
Personally I would think a texture pack like this is fun for five minutes because you can suddenly find lots of diamond. And then the whole game gets boring and ruined quick because all the adventure and surprise is lost.

I don't use this texture pack for multiplayer because the server banned them, but I'd like to get the pumpkin NVGs into my other texture packs. How did you do those?
Cheers! This actually helped me catch and ban five different thieves and griefers within my server. Really helped, I owe you one!
Thanks for letting me know! This is exactly 50% of the reason I made the packs. I'm glad to hear about that half getting some use!
And the other 50% is so thieves and griefers can find your hidden bases, right?

LTNObvious - Cut the Misc folder into any other texture pack, as long as it doesn't already have a Misc folder of its own. If it does, only copy pumpkinblur.png inside my Misc folder and paste it over to the Misc folder in the texture pack of your choice.
I find it truly astonishing at how limited the logic of some of the posts in this thread are. It's like watching a hive of world's dumbest bees swarm all over something but fail to sting it because they dont know which end the pointy thing comes out of.
Interesting pack. Looks especially cool with forced AA on.

This post opened my eyes. Why am I wasting time copying and pasting a message to them, telling them to read the F.A.Q. for more information regarding replies I've already come up with for their posts, when they clearly never took the time to read it in the first place? If they didn't then, why would they after I address them when they have nothing but contempt for me and this texture pack? That's a very silly thing of me to do.
From here on out, I'll speak to them in a way that even they can understand. Image macros are enough.
(No, I'm not purposely typing like an idiot. Sometimes, my keys fail on me)
