I don't get why some people hate Painterly. I don't think any of the textures in the customizer are ugly. Anyone care to explain?
Because the dirt sucks. The armours too. Eld goes for the traditional minecraft feel, yet STILL manages to do a complete overhaul. Painterly is a drastic change from the theme.
Yeah...two of the best "ARE CRAP" to you huh? Not biased at all either....
Jehkoba's Steamcraft is better than most on your list also (IMO). Not just his Fantasy pack. And what about Girlcraft? And if there's only slots for ten, why put the vanilla MC pack as a choice?

none of the above, the whole point of a poll is to let overs voice there opinion on what they think is best, however all you have done is put the packs you like the most and wont add packs that are better than the packs up there, about 50%of people here are saying packs that arnt up there are best, there is some choice in the poll but only if your like minded to the OP, also my pack PWNS all
I had the hardest time trying to get the poll to work like it should, but I kept on getting more than 10 poll options in result... so what I'm trying to say is if your poll creation had trouble like mine, you might be able to fit in more options than limited.
It's aways a popularity contest, but Eld is winning, so I don't think it's all about popularity, that's high quality stuff right there. Pixeludi and Moontrain's Lucid are on the poll, witch is nice. Those are great textures packs as well.
Personally, I don't get how packs like Painterly and Quandary Reborn got in when amazing stuff like LZ Pack are just ignored.
I think is hard to make a poll that would please everyone.
Yeah, I've got to admit, of all the texture packs I think Painterly is the absolute worst I've seen. I can see that others like it, but it's just ugly to me. It's like the vanilla textures, but even more noisy and senseless (no offense to the creator; it's clearly just a difference in taste). I hate noisy packs!
Quandry Reborn is fine, though it's weird because some textures (like the wood planks) almost look like those 'simple' texture packs, while others (like the cobblestone) look noisy - and the dirt looks extra noisy. Just seems odd.
Eld, I just don't like the style (again, taste difference). Besides, the dirt is purple/pink tinged. Maybe it's just because Eld's avatar is hideous though lol.
Anyway, my vote goes to moontrain's Lucid pack; I especially love the dirt/grass and I love the pack because of its low-noise (but not lacking in detail) textures. It makes the game so much fun to explore and build in. My only issues with it are the Netherack brick texture and the mossy cobblestone (single-direction moss makes it look silly on floors).

In the customizer, maybe not. But the default grass texture/color is so damn ugly, it makes me wanna punch a hole in my screen.

1. THEY ARE CRAP.
2. There's a poll limit of 10 options.
