Yes, I know Portal 2 came out yesterday, and yes I know minecraft 1.5 also came out, and yes, I haven't updated this texture pack yet. Here's why: The server I go on needs a few weeks to permanently move over to 1.5, so I've been hanging out in 1.4 for a while. But I just need to copy my files and download a new launcher to use both 1.4 and 1.5 at whim (I think), so I'll work on updating this pack once I've ironed out those little details.
Weather, webs, saplings and rails? Woo! Best... update... ever. (Although I've still yet to see it for myself). Update should be coming within a couple of days. My time will be significantly free-er soon, so that will be wonderful.
Also, I haven't played Portal 2 yet (gasp). Any ideas of things I should add to this pack based on that? I already added Wheatley in advance, and kind-a those mirror block thingies (redirection cubes?). Anything remarkable that I should know about?

Add the cobwebs as vegetation like in some of the test chambers in Portal 2. Or make it some type of repulsion gel

Update: Both packs are now up to speed with 1.5. Aside from that, nothing else has changed. I'm still going to get around to changing the look of items and various other "to do" list things. Just be patient, 'cause that's going to take me a while to get to.

on your to-do list it says alter sound so that spiders are asking what is that while mauling you, if you ever figure out how to do that i would think it would also be great to put the orange core's speech from portal 2 in place of the creeper, cause a creeper walking towards you saying "spaaaaaaaaace, so much space" would be awesome

The trick it to put two signs up for both squares of the painting. Then the painting can go on the signs like a wall, but you can still walk through it.

Not all the paintings are available yet, actually. The current Minecraft has a specific number that show up, but I just created a lot of paintings in advance so the psvk won't break as more paintings get added to minecraft (and also so people can customize their pack for their own dungeons). So, the reason that painting isn't showing up is because it's not available yet. Sorry!
Also, I was modifying your Precisely Portal pack (Credits still given to you), but I can't seem to change the redstone's color. I mean, if you look at Portal it's either Blue or Orange, not Red. But somehow I can't change it, even if I edit terrain.png. How do I fix it?

That's a good question that I don't know the answer to. Originally, there were two textures for redstone (off and on), and so I had nice blue circles that changed to orange when powered... but then when redstone delayers were added, the redstone graphics changed. Now, it seems like the only control we have over it is the shape...
If it can be customized further it's probably buried in the code somewhere. So I have no idea how to do it, and changing it would be too detailed for a simple texture pack.
Same here! It seems that it can see through walls. I use it to find dungeons! But I do want it to be see through.
Another thing: can the pressure plates be changed into super buttons, like the ones in the Enrichment Center? I tried to do it, but I don't know which one is the pressure plate! Is the text for the plate the same as smooth stone? If it is, I don't suppose it's possible...
Oh! Here's an idea: you can make the nether blocks like the ones in Aperture's industrial regions! Brownish, and such. Soul Sand can be the purple stuff. I would do it, but I have no idea how I could draw such a thing so that it wouldn't be uniform.

That's a good question that I don't know the answer to. Originally, there were two textures for redstone (off and on), and so I had nice blue circles that changed to orange when powered... but then when redstone delayers were added, the redstone graphics changed. Now, it seems like the only control we have over it is the shape...

I have seen an image of the grate-like texture while someone was looking down at lava. It seemed to look good. I tried making a uh...lemme just post a picture:
