I have an idea for this Resource Pack that I'd like to share with you. Basically, sometime last year, Valve released a VR game called The Lab that's a spin-off of Portal, which is weird considering that Portal is a spin-off of Half-Life. I have not played The Lab myself, by the way. Anyways, one of the features in the game is that you can play with a robot dog. So where am I going with this? I want the Wolf textures to be changed to the robot dog, the tamed Wolf to be a blue-eyed version of the robot dog (don't know what to do about the collar, though), an the aggressive Wolf to be a red-eyed version of the dog.
Here's a video of the dog in action.

Interesting! I'll have to give that a look. I definitely want to switch out some of the mobs at some point, but it depends entirely on feasibility/time/etc.
Another 1.12 Update: It may look small but there was a lot of back end stuff that needed to be updated.
Brown terracotta core changed to light grey so that the brown can now be the "virtual reality assistance core." New light grey, black, white, and brown cores. All core animation code was also updated and the broken animations were fixed.
So every terracotta is now officially an animated core, hooray!
Discontinuation of 16x support. 32x will continue, but version 1.12 is the the last time the 16x packs will be updated (I also removed adfly from the main download link). As for the 1.13 update, Mojang renamed every texture in file and code so most of the time was spent fixing that.
New: wolf, cod, buckets of fish, horse armor, saddle, spruce trapdoor, blue ice, seagrass.
There are also new spawn egg images for nonvanilla mobs--but you need to keep in mind with these textures that I have no control over the automatic color overlay that totally messes up most of the images. I'm making them anyway in the hope that eventually Mojang will allow customization in that regard so I can remove the filter entirely and just show the images.
Updated: texture for "oak trapdoor" is now "dark oak trapdoor.
