I'm glad you enjoy it, and if you want to make a sig using some images that should be fine. =)
Notes on next update: I'm working on animating the 32x32 personality cores, and so far I have the anger core and parts of Wheatley finished, woo! I'm very excited about how they are turning out so far, so here's a very short gif to give you a preview (the finished core does a lot more than just shake its head, of course, but I can't be bothered to gif the whole thing. You'll just have to wait until the official 1.5 release to see it in the finished form... or replace the files in your downloaded pack with these two things if you're really curious):
Wait, does the signature have to be used for supporting the texturepack or for supporting my map that uses this texturepack?
Wait, does the signature have to be used for supporting the texturepack or for supporting my map that uses this texturepack?
Whichever. I don't really care if you use the images in a sig as long as you don't claim on said sig something like "lightbulb made these pictures" or something. =P If your dungeon uses the textures feel free to support your dungeon with the textures in a sig.
Second note on the next update: The logic personality core is driving me crazy. Apparently really smooth, fluid movements are extremely difficult with this... but the good news is that I've got 8 other cores done. And no-one probably cares since you can't see them yet XD, but it's taken so long to make them that I'm going to yap about it anyway.
Two year anniversary update! (1.5 Pre-release update number 2)
This texture pack was first created two years ago on this date. That's somewhat momentous, so I decided to give a fairly nice update in coordination with that event.
Animated: 32x32 personality cores (cloths 1/2/3/4/5/6/9/10/11/12/13/14), potaTOS, nether quartz ore (and all 16x ore shine animations). Here's a small gif example of the animated cores (the full in-game animation is more comprehensive).
Please note that there are currently no plans to animate the 16x16 personality cores due to time constrictions. This may or may not change in the future.
Can you make a download link for 1.4.6, because I can't find one and I don't have the 1.5 snapshot yet, and if the link is present, can you tell me where it is?
Thanks! ...your link looks extremely interesting, but I can't quite figure out what it's about. Some sort of specialized code in MCpatcher? To make beacons look like a pane of glass?

The release I have out for 1.5 should still work perfectly fine in any 1.4 minecraft. But if you need a specific previous release, I have a backup for the 1.4.3 update in the change log. Other than that... I didn't update between 1.4.3 and 1.5, so I'm afraid I don't have a specific 1.4.6 backup file to offer.
1) I slightly modified your texture pack to work with a portal 2 map. I replaced the door to look like the normal minecraft door. You can see it in the video of a preview of my map:
So my question is, can I post a link the the modified texture pack? I'll make sure I'll give credit to you if I do.
Official 1.5 release: Nothing new from the pre-releases I did, just general tweaking to make sure everything works correctly. Everything should be up to date now, so please let me know if something appears to be broken.

2) Can you try to make the texture pack 64x64?
1) Check the permissions section on OP post. The short answer is basically "yes," but just make sure you follow that section and we're good. =)
2) I'm afraid not! Just going from 16x16 to 32x32 was painful enough... I have no plans to ever make a 64x64 Portal pack (though I believe some other people have, so I certainly won't be offended if you'd rather use their packs over mine.)
The clock and compass isn't fixed. It's still that white square.
Yup. Mojang had a new requirement for 1.5 that wasn't in most of the pre-releases, so I only caught that particular one today. It's all fixed now, so you can either redownload the packs, or just add blank .txt files to the one you currently have (and name them clock.txt or compass.txt, respectively). It's a pretty easy fix.

Also, the fire's default, so would I have to use fire.txt?

I have not animated fire, and probably won't in the future either (since fire just looks like... fire. There's not a LOT of variation). Vanilla fire on the 16x packs should be fitting enough, but that wouldn't look good with the 32x32 packs, of course, so I used Vattic's "Faithful" 32x32 version of fire instead.
So I guess I'm not quite sure what you're asking. The 32x32 versions of the packs have 32x32 fire... so if you're not seeing that for some reason, I suggest re-downloading the pack to fix it.
Custom splash screen messages cause my game to crash on start-up, and the language files cause it to black screen, I don't get what's wrong
They shouldn't be doing that, but I'll go through really quick and make sure it's nothing on my end...
Yup! Everything seems to be working fine. I think you must have installed the files incorrectly, or have some sort of conflicting mod. Redownload your vanilla .jar and try again... it really should be fairly simple. Just delete the META-INF folder and then copy the files over into their prospective folders (as explained in my FAQ).
Could you update the portal gun mod textures? Their kind of buggy.
Ah, iChun seems to have updated the gun mod again. I'll definitely look into getting an update for the textures out as soon as I can. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
EDIT: Done. The packs are updated to version 1.5.0 of the Gun Mod.

Ooh, which reminds me! We're coming up on the two year anniversary of this pack! Hearts to you all. <3

New: hopper, dropper
Fixed: spider/enderman/dragon eyes, tnt minecart, clock, compass

Thank you for the suggestion, but that was sort-of a small joke in Portal 2 and I'm currently happy with how the bows turned out for now. =)

Woo! I'm glad you enjoy the cores. They took quite a while to make, so it's always good to know that users enjoy the update. =)
