Im making a portal challenge map and its required to use this texture, so im gonna make a link from the challenge map to here, so expect dls in the future ;D
1.2.5 Update: (sorry for the wait, busy busy). Please note that optifine does not show the new 32x portal items for some reason. They show up fine without optifine, and magically vanish when optifine is on... so I believe there is a disconnect between the gun mod and optifine for gun mod version 1.2.5. A: You're probably using Optifine. There's some unknown issues about this which I've been unable to locate the cause of, so please ask sp614x about it.

Would you mind if I included some of your more default 32x32 MC textures as alternatives in the customizer for Faithful 32x32? Credit will be given of course with a link back here if you like?
I would also very much like to separate your portal mod stuff from your pack proper so that people who use portal mod in default worlds, like direwolf20, can easily install. Would you be happy for me to do this?

A few examples might help me decide if I'm comfortable with this second inclusion or not.
(Oh. Also let me know if you've made the new snapshot guis, yet. I worked up the new ones in the style of your pack, so if you'd like to save yourself a little time I'd be more than happy to send those to you in advance).
The textures I would love to include on the customizer or even the main pack in some cases are: The saplings, wheat, little cactus, nether wart + item, fire charge item, and the map item.
As for the snapshot GUIs other people have sent me some things but I don't know if there are more. I would appreciate you sending me what you've made.

I've considered using them myself in some sort of non-portal pack, but I frankly don't think I'll ever be getting around to this (though if I ever do, I may ask for my textures to be removed in the future. It's not likely, but I like including a "just in case"). As for the guis, I'll send you the ones I worked up for my packs, and if they're helpful--great! If not, not. =)
I', sorry if someone already said this, but there are some textures that i thing would be cooler if they were switched. Like if the Creeper was a defective turret (because the defects explode) and the skeletons were turrets (they shoot at you) and if the wood pressure plates were the big red buttons (because you place stuff on them.) I'm sorry about my run on sentence, but i just thought of these when i was using the texture pack. Great job on it!
Because... it's a texture pack? You might be new to what texture packs do. They change the look of minecraft to whatever new textures the person has made. If you don't like it, just switch back to default textures.

Skeletons are already rocket turrets (as much as the skeleton skin can look like one, anyway), and I think I like the creepers in the white turret skin, so that won't be changing. As for the pressure plates, please see the FAQ.

Note about the future update: I have it in a relatively good working order, but I can't actually update it in advance due to Mojang switching around creative menus. The new menu looks REALLY bad in old patches, so I'm just going to have to wait until the changes become official.

Eh? That shouldn't be the case. If it's a 32x32 pack, did you patch it properly? There's some sort of error on your end.

I'm new to the patcher, but i checked the boxes for HD textures, HD font, Better grass, and custom colors. then i clicked patch. All of the textures worked much better than they did before I patched it. Is there something else i'm supposed to do.
And to further explain my problem, its bassically, no mater how many times i place a painting, it has never been the down arrow, right arrow, entire Aperture logo, cake picture, turret picture, or many others. I've only seen about half of them ever show up (an believe me, i've place several hundred paintings when i made some simple test chambers

Ah, I see what your problem is now. It's that not all those paintings are available yet. Mojang has tiles set for a certain amount of paintings right now, but I've included more than that amount so that when (or if) Mojang adds more paintings to minecraft, they'll automatically be there in my packs. (Also so people who want to make a very specific dungeon can customize their own version of the pack to suite their needs).
If you'd like to use some of the paintings that don't currently show up, you'll have to switch them out with some of the default ones (or use some sort of "more paintings" mod). Sorry for the confusion. =)
I really like this pack (because I love Portal :P), but I suggest that it could be more useable in singleplayer. Maybe just an alt with different wood and stone (what I noticed most) textures. Other than that, brilliant.

Cocoa beans and bonemeal reverted to default since they aren't strictly dyes.
