New coal textures! :biggrin.gif: I might do it to the other ores as alternatives.
Don't mean to sound demanding or anything, but could you possibly try adding shading and making it look 'embedded' into the rock? I think it would make it look a lot better :tongue.gif:
That boat looks brilliant though, love the pattern outside! :biggrin.gif:
I noticed, when you switched the door, chest, and worktable to the blue theme, that the top texture of the chest and the frame around the window of the wooden door had rows of pixels that were raised out of place. I finally decided to fix them, hopefully to what you had intended them to look.
All I did on the chest was lower the bottom two rows by 1 pixel. Since the "mistake" in the door at least made the spacing between the hinges even (gotta have them there spaces even, ya just gotta), I left most of it how it was and just lowered the top panel (top three rows) and erased 2 pixels in the bottom two window panes so they were triangular again. Also included a version of the doors with the bottom panes a mirror of the top ones (again gotta have that there evenness).
@SilentStormer: I might try this some time this weekend. Give me a bit okay?
In other news, I updated the boats to match the wood textures that this pack has. I feel like I've given the boat a "stained" outside, with a raw wood inside. I think it looks nice. Check it out.
Yeah, that looks like i imagined it, thanks for taking my suggestion! Bookmarking the page now.
You know, because this is a modification of Doku's RPG textures, why don't you add a more, RPG-Like texture for the sign with, like a rip or two, to make it look like the town, or house, or something has been raided. I really like this texture because i want Doku's 32x32 but i don't have a patcher so thanks Clip. This is a really good texture packs. I use it for about 95% of my maps. thanks for making it.

I really suck at shading like that, I don't know why, but I can't do it. Perhaps someone could help me out? Thanks.
I could definitely help you out with that! I've done shading for both my packs now (due to demands >.>) So I have a reasonable idea of how it works. Would you like me to add shading to it, post it back here with an explanation on how I did it all?
Would probably help for future reference as well.

Yeah i noticed that to...this texture pack should have every image on a site liek the offical 32 bit one does....not a fan of the blue soo im trying to keep the old one :s
Ok clip! Sorry it took so long, I was at my friends house and only just got back :tongue.gif:
I have two things for you, the embedded coal as a picture and a full pack. I uploaded the full pack as well because I added the latest versions of my custom water because I noticed you were using the old ones :wink.gif: It also has the coal already placed in the terrain.png!
Ok now for how to add shading to make ores look embedded! (it really helps when you have a look at an example so looking at the coal might help you understand better!)
What you need to do is get 2 colours. One really dark and one really light. It's easier to just use the 'eyedropper tool' (the one that copies the colour of the thing you click xD) on the stone and then just lighten that colour for the lighter one, and darken it for the dark one. When you have both colours, reduce the transparency (if you use paint.net it is accessed by clicking 'more' on the colours window and then it's the very bottom slider) to about 40-50. Then you basically apply this around the ore, the dark colour should be at the top and left sides of the ore (this makes the shadow) and the light colour should be applied at the bottom and right sides of the ore (this adds the 'light' I guess :tongue.gif:). Basically just do this around each individual ore piece on the whole block until you are happy with it!
Well there you go! I'm really bad at explaining stuff, but basically following the colour instructions and then looking at how I did the coal should make it clear :tongue.gif:
If not, just tell me and i'll try to explain it a bit better!
I really dont want to be picky but could you posibly change the diamond sword to what it looks like in the 32 bit Doku? I love it havn't got winzip yet so i cant unzip it
But...that would mean you would have all of the 32x items...and that makes the game lag more for all of us with "special" computers..and would kinda be stupid to have 32x items in a 16x pack O.o
I think hes saying make the 16 bit sword look more like one of the 32 edits....however since there are many 32 edit weapons its unclear which one they mean, but a 16 bit version of them would be nice......i think thats what hes saying yet its a bit unclear :s
Updated the coal textures today, Sheep helped with that. (Thanks!!) Anyway, about the 32x sword: I wouldn't be able to do such a thing because it wouldn't match the color scheme my pack has. If you look at everyone's diamond weapons, you'll see that they're very..blue. My diamond weapons revolve more of a light blue color. It just wouldn't feel right.

Use, don't use. It's all cool.

Only critique I have of the pack is with the bombs being blue and the door, chest, and worktable now blue, it just seems like there's too much blue.
Thanks for the texture pack.
