ClipTy, your texture back is THE BEST 16x pack (for my tastes anyway). I prefer it even over the higher res packs. Very nice work here, and I'm glad I found this thread. I've used painterly like everyone else in the past but yours just grew on me.
Sorry to hear about your video/computer woes. Do you have a motherboard with PCI-E? (there would be a typically blue or yellow or green pci expansion slot on it to take a video card).

The bombs are staying blue. If I made them black, you'd be looking at a very ugly box full of wooden and blehh.

well i had seen an older 32 one of black bombs, i just always questioned why they are blue....reminds me to much of zelda lol.
Btw, the wooden door window is 1 line to low have you noticed that?

Yep, you have PCI-E. See the "PCI Express" text on the board in about center of the photo? Your slot is black as it turns out. You should google your computer model and see which cards will work with it (you'll want at LEAST a 512mb card if it'll take it for gaming) and find one on ebay or newegg.com which I've used in the past with success.
Well, I just realized 1.5 is out today. I filled in all the blanks with the default textures just for...minor satisfaction. I promise I'll get to work on things soon, but I need to do a couple things today before I can do anything with Textures. So enjoy the new beta, and I'll get to work on some original things soon. I've quickly made some new textures for the new minecart rails. You can use them until you have completed yours if you want, or even use them permanently, or not at all. Your choice. I might work on them a bit more to make them look a little better soon. Anyhow, here they are:
Where exactly do I put the Minecart textures that are powered up? I can't see them on the terrain..

A couple nice updates for the pack. I'm using Phantango's nice new powered track style, they blend perfectly with the pack. I also fixed the redstone overlay glitch so there is no more brown "clump." I put in the Painterly Pack's saplings because I was already using the tree sapling, why not use the other two as well? The pack is back to speed, and fortunately, I'm getting a new graphics card in the next couple days. My motivation is coming back, slowly but surely.

Just a recent post to players: I'm bringing back the old ore blocks, but I am keeping the others as an alternative choice. The redstone is not an issue, just redownload the pack and see for yourself! Here's the thing. I need the old textures of the ore blocks in order to make them the way they were again! xD So if someone could kindly give me the textures, I'd be happy. I believe Reshi still has the textures, so if you do, just link them to me. Thanks.
Just found out today that the custom HD patcher doesn't work. I tried placing down redstone, and logs as well, and they just crashed my game! :ohmy.gif: Do not use the custom patcher until they can support Beta 1.5_01

Need to use the beta 4 patcher (there's a sticky). It is a lot better and easier to use though!

Anyway, I might consider showing a bit of face with the armor (like the chainmail) so check back soon.
I made the faces show for the armor, but I made them alternative textures because I didn't like them as much.

Yeah, someone asked for them, so I just made a small tweak. I personally like the normal textures. But that's just me. :tongue.gif:
