I like the texture pack alot but could u get the paintings to be different please? u get though because Doku's texture pack is very good.
I've been currently looking around for some replacement paintings. Perhaps you could help find some? I'd appreciate it.
With the painterly custom pack, if you choose home improvements for the paintings, you can get some curtains and chest of drawers as paintings, which some people might like. Apart from that and the art paintings from Painterly, I don't know any other good ones :/

I have updated some of the paintings with a few nice things from Shmelse's Home Improvement pack. They add a bit more variety to the paintings that are already there. :biggrin.gif:

By the way, the 2 new diamond items (shovel, pick) took like 20 minutes to make tops. But they look nice. I'm trying to think of something to replace the axe and sickle. I like the whole style I'm doing (gold items = old diamond ones)
Yeah, that will look good. I remembered a video of someone using the geru doku pack, and their diamond axe was like a battleaxe. (kinda like a pick but with axe blades) I thought that might be pretty cool. Oh, and thanks for using some of my textures, although you may want to tweak the brick so that the lines 'line-up' more, because I hadn't completely finished it, but it still looks ok. Lookin forward to the next update :biggrin.gif:
As for the bricks, I'll go ahead and try to line them up, if all goes well, I'll keep the texture. By the way, your crafting block you made was a bit..off. I don't know how to explain it. I only kept the front part of it (hammer and axe) I'm going to try to make a new axe and sickle soon enough, I've just been a bit busy lately.

Just a small update: I went back to my old brick style, but with the color of the GeruDoku brick, it's a slightly darker red. It blends nicely. I've also edited the "locks" on the front of chests, they look a bit like the GeruDoku chests now.

This texture pack is awesome! It is probably one of my favorites. I downloaded it a while ago and it keeps getting better and better. It's great! If you want another good texture pack you should check out Jumbled by Apachekiller. It's the first version of it but it's cool and it will get better so check it out if you would please! :biggrin.gif:
Ok everyone, I might be making a huge update to the stone textures of this pack. Possibly even the wood as well.
I want to know everyone's opinion to this question: Should I make the Doku Stone brighter, like the GeruDoku Pack? If I do this, I will need some time to retexture all of the ores, furnaces, basically anything made of stone. This could be a huge decision to be made, so I wanted to know if everyone else would like this to happen.

These textures will basically need to be phased into the pack. I'll keep the other textures for those who still like them, if the vote were to win. I'm putting a poll up, as soon as the thing starts working again..
At first i thought "NOT ANOTHER DOKU PACK" But after downloading it for the kicks i realised it was actually quite good! I felt as if i just got ***** slapped because this pack was actually great!!!. Unlike other packs the tools (swords in particular) looked adequate and were simple middle age regular not anime style! That was good becasue i had been searching for a pack with weapons like that! Very well done! I was very happy to have it 16 bit because 32 bit and up just make it lag like **** considering the amount of mods i have! Speaking of that it didint conflict with any! I downloaded a few other packs and the tools seem to have conflicted with the mods! But enough of my yapping all in all i like it alot!
