Sorry, I used the search bar but my question sort of covers a few things into one big question.
A) I want to start to make my own texture packs. I know I have to edit the terrain.png and all of that jazz, but after I edit the terrain, what else do I do from there? Can I just save it an play?
:cool.gif: When I want to download and play on texture packs, I know I have to put them into the file for them. But what kind of file does the texture pack need to be as?

Thanks in advanced.
you need to find all the appropriate files, edit them as you wish and then organize them into a zip and place in your texture pack folder, and the terrain.png should be a .png
then just select it and run, but if the texture pack is higher than 16x you will need to use the patcher.
