Can anyone point me in the direction of a good pack that can help me find resources like diamond, coal, gold, iron etc.

As for a texture pack, I heard someone made it possible to look through ground; however, I can not find it, but could make it easily for you. If that is not what you are looking for, I could make a texture pack that has the ore differ greatly from the smooth stone.

I know I saw a texture pack and that is what I am looking for. I am playing online and i dont think that would work.

It depends on what you're looking for. Do you want a pack that offers extra-high visibility (to make it easier to spot resources in dim lighting and/or at long distances), or do you want a pack that makes it easy to see through things to where the resources are located underground?

For high visibility, I designed The Cel-Pak (high visibility) and The Cel-Pak: Pastel Pak (extra high visibility) to accomplish exactly that. Links are in my signature. I'm not touting them just because they're mine, but because I really put them together for aestheticism meets high visibility, and that's what they're known for.

For seeing through things, there are a mess of texture packs out there. I've never used any of them, so I don't know where to find them, but they're pretty common.

I really want one so I can go into my mine which is at layer like 14 and look around to help me find mob spawners, gold, and diamond. Also what do you think the best mining strategy is for finding this sort of stuff.
