Just a heads-up: Still working on the terrain.png textures, but it's slow going. Still none of them are up to Soartex level of quality, so it will be awhile (maybe another week) and I don't see them being quite as good as Soar's even then, but hopefully they're an upgrade from the 16x16 ones there now.
If anyone wants to contribute, an End Stone and End Portal texture would really help. My attempts are too much like the Sandstone texture.

I've modified the Moon_Phases.png to include Soar's moon and it's phases. To use it, place this image in the terrain folder of Soar's texture pack. I've studied actual pictures of the moon in it's stages to attempt a realistic depiction of them. Please tell me if you think there are any errors. (or if I should tone down the darkness so it's not complete...) I would have contacted Soar directly, but I don't quite know how. Btw, I really like your sponge texture, floppy. :biggrin.gif:

You'd have to have Photoshop or Gimp and manually copy the brighter textures from floppy's image and put over the original texture.png image and then save the modified texture back into the zip. Preferably, soar would add floppy's textures to the customizer and that would do it for you, but I'm not sure if Soar is even watching the topic anymore...
I've updated the terrain.png. I added nether warts (which I could improve), brewing stand, cauldron, pumpkin/melon stems and vines, and I improved the sponge. Here is are all of my additions, which you can copy and paste onto terrain.png.

Those look pretty cool, I'll try them out! You might want to make the textures stand out less, though, so it's easier to focus on whatever task is at hand.
This has all the wonderful textures done by floppy_gunk already added to it.
Just copy it to your texture .zip file and overwrite the old one.

This will add the missing particles from the pack .. including the "alphabet" letters that float from the bookshelves to the enchantment table. this was taken from the default particles file (it is the same file that's included by default)

doing my bit! i re-colored the grass texture to add mycelium. got a screenshot here. i've also added everyone's update efforts so far into a zip here.
oh man, thanks for doing those items. lilypads were driving me crazy since i wanted to have a flower in the middle to make it all "soar-y" but it kept out turning all wrong. this is a good, clean lilypad. the items aren't done yet. i think i'm gonna have a go at the particles png tomorrow.
