I love this texture pack but this doesn't have some items like iron bars and vines which i use allot, it makes the look go dull and doesn't seem right also the cobble is awesome i think you did a great job on it :laugh.gif:
I am making Stem now.
Pumpkin Stem and Melon Stem are colored green and yellow in the game.
But they are not using grasscolor.png and foliagecolor.png.

Where does Stem get the color from? :sad.gif:
Perhaps wheat? Green when freshly planted, yellow when full grown.

I don't know for sure, it seems to be hard-coded. If you don't use grayscale, it seems to retain the color in terrain.png. Other packs have just made them green and they stay green.
For the stems and vines, greyscale makes them use the biome colors or whatnot.
From what source? I swapped out multiple foliagecolor.png and grasscolor.png and the color seemed to stay the same for the ones in greyscale. It seemed it was not being influenced by those two images.
Honestly one of the greatest Mineraft texture packs ever made! It's modern, relaxing and just overall beautiful!
Cheers soar49 for making a texture pack like this!

To be sure, hard-coded maybe.
If it is colored a gray scale texture, a hard-coded color is added.
It is impossible to reduce color saturation from it.
Renewal of Stem may be shelved.
Pre Release 1.9.4 messed up the dirt again (fire in texture) and enchantment table and brewing stand still missing. Just wanted to say that.
Soartex is my favorite texture pack since day one !
As for the dirt, you need to run MCPatcher every time you update. The pre-release replaced your minecraft.jar, which is what the patch patches. So run MCPatcher again (and check for updated version of it).

Also, if you have GIMP or Photoshop or something, I cut out/resized the new textures (enchantment table, brewing stand, cauldron) if you want them. You will need to delete the textures in their spots as they use transparency and will show through otherwise, but here...
Absolutely love this texture pack! Very good job on it all, runs so nicely too because you didn't re texture everything like bones and small things only the main blocks.
Just have one question and I am sorry if it has been asked a lot but I didn't read through all 50 pages :biggrin.gif: Any plans to update to include any of the main mods that people use? Industrialcraft 2, Buildcraft, Equivalent Exchange, Better Than Wolves etc....
I do not support "the texture for mod" yet.
soartex has very many incomplete portions.
Therefore, I would like to support the texture of MOD, when finishing making them.
Now if there was an easy way to save changes to the .zip from the image editor.
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!
News which should be astonished!!!!!
I reboot Minecraft about 100 times in many times on a day.
It is very very troublesome.
I will be very joyful if it is improved. :tongue.gif:
And I tested it.
While working Minecraft, I tried to open the zip by WinRAR and overwrite terrain.png.
But since it was under use in the process, it was not able to be overwritten.
Next, overwrite of soartex.zip was tested into the texture folder.
It has been overwritten there.
I was glad and pushed F3+T in the game.
But it was reloaded to the default texture from soartex.
Maybe, this system does not assume HD texture. :sad.gif:
These textures look great. Thanks.

Thank you.
Sensible action maintains my work motivation. :biggrin.gif:

Before I made a change to the files, I pressed F3+T and it kept Soartex. Once I changed the files, it reverted to default textures. :sad.gif:
