A third party made some textures based on Soartex for Industrial Craft. I don't follow Industrial Craft, but it looks like he hasn't updated them to IC2 yet. He said he is working on it though, so that is your best bet. Thread here:

I absolutely love this texture pack, but I found a little bug. Dirt blocks with grass(normal grass, not tall grass) on top get two small fires and some purple stuff on the side. I took a screen shot, but can't find a way to upload it.
Then you didn't patch right. I guarantee that results from running with an unpatched .jar.
Is it even possible to patch something wrong?
EDIT: I found out with some googling that you weren't even talking about patching, but some kind of dodgy hd-texture pack fix. It did the trick though. thanks.

It's not dodgy. Every single HD texture pack requires it. The OP says you need to use it. There is a sticky in the texture pack forum saying to use it for HD textures.
On another note...
Soar, the new textures look great. I really like the ores, they seem to fit the style of the pack better and they are very easy to see.
