Do other HD packs work for you? Are you using OptiFine mod? If no to both of those, you just didn't run MCPatcher right, that's really the only possibility.
it ain't a mod, and to be honest (this is to other people) I don't think it should be resized to 32x until ITS ****ING FINISHED, its missing a lot of textures and some need to be fixed
You could be a bit nicer about saying it.
It does get annoying when people constantly ask for a pack in different sizes. They fail to realize the amount of work it takes to scale a pack properly. Most times, resizing it does not work. Instead, the artist basically has to go back and re-do a great deal of the pack by hand.
My suggestion, if a pack is too high resolution for your computer you have to options:
1. Find another pack.
2. Upgrade your computer.
Artists like Soar know what they're doing. He chose 64x because that size can properly support the amount of detail he was going for. He does these textures by hand drawing them. They're not photos. They're not created with filters. It is a very slow and tedious process to make textures this way, but it ends up with the best result.
Asking for a texture pack in another size is basically asking an artist to re-imagine the pack entirely. Can you imagine asking da Vinci to go back and give the Mona Lisa a proper smile?
It's a huge undertaking if they don't start out with the goal of supporting many sizes. Honestly, it's too much to ask for. Especially every page, it gets old.
This is the best texture pack that exists in my opinion and I hope the only changes are new things being added as they are added to the game. :smile.gif:
I agree completely aside from the little bit I cut off, I only like these things when they're finished, that said I do think Soar should put (WIP) in his title, it's missing at least half of all textures (items/mobs etc etc)
I prefer it that way. One problem I have with other texture packs is if you're new to them, you have no idea what the items are. Using default item icons makes it very easy to use this pack. The base item textures are very simple and clear. It's more of a function over form issue for me. They don't change the way I see the game in the end, because they're not included in any buildings. They don't show in any screenshots.
As far as mobs, maybe that would be nice, but they are a lot of work (a single mob texture is the size of I think 8 block textures). It's easy to swap in mobs from another pack if you find some you like. Personally, VonDoom's Hostile Mobs are amazing looking. He doesn't have a full texture pack so it's a perfect match for Soartex.
Soar, 1.8 is being released on 12.9, do you think you can finish wildgrass until then?
The Wild Grass mod will almost certainly break with the update, as all mods tend to do. I'm guessing it might not be usable for a few days after that. Plus the inevitable bug fix releases after 1.8 for the next week or so mean that there's quite a bit of time before anyone will be using any mod in 1.8...

I've resized it through PS, and it works and looks fine at 32.
