A little while ago I figured that the simplistic art style of Wind Waker would fit well in Minecraft, but I didn't know someone actually made a functional texture pack. Bravo!
I especially like the stylized patterns that are true to the dungeons and lore of the game, they really do great justice to the pack and complement the overall feel. Especially the breaking animations, that made me grin, and I found it to be an unexpected surprise. The water texture change also works wonders for the feel to totally bring you to that Zelda state of mind. I'll be using this pack. Keep up the good work!

wow! thank you for the fantastic review! Im glad you like it so much!
After updating to 1.4, my redstone wire is invisible. If it gets power, I can see the red dust swirls, but the wire itself is gone. This happens regardless of video settings.

Hmmm! this is very strange, mines acting weird too! I wonder why! if anyone knows why could they please tell me so i can fix it?
dude!!! ur texture pack is AMAZING! I would add some pics but sadly i dnt know how to..if some1 can show me how to put up pics I wud be glad to put up some pics of this texture pack :biggrin.gif:
I like the texture pack, but there are a few things that nag me.
What I like: I love the wood and grass textures, They are both fantasticly charming. The armor is cool, I enjoy the zelda inspiration I see in the Iron and Diamond sets. Zombies as Redeads are absolutley terrifying.
Cobblestone is nice as well, It possibly may be my favorite cobble texture yet.
What I dislike: I'm not a fan of the creeper. Giving him angrier eyes kind of seems to miss the point to him. It also reduces the creepyness of when they just stand there and stare at you.
The way things break. It's missing something.. The idea is cool but, it just doesn't look right.. Maybe like one of the other posts above me said, add smaller swirls that come out from it or something.
So here's some gold.

Tears aren't the end of your sins... You have to bear them painfully, Forever.
I enjoy all the constructive criticism but like I said, I cant please everyone, Im sorry, what some people love, some people hate. Its just the way of things, by all means, if you dont like something, go ahead and change it for your own pleasure, I dont mind at all. Im looking into the redstone thing but I think it just has to do with how redstone is coded for now. I REALLY hope it gets fixed soon cuz I dont want to have to remake my redstone.

I hope so too! It really breaks the pack that I was working on myself as well, so I made a topic about it in the suggestions forum. Feel free to check it out: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=191247
Hopefully if enough people complain about this, Notch will consider changing it back or tweaking its implementation.
I think I found the solution for the redstone. Been looking around in the new terrain.png thats in minecraft.jar and I found it! They changed the spot for redstone sprites! I think it has to do with the fact that it isn't just on or off anymore, since it changes to darker red the further away it is from a source. I think all you have to do is change it to the new position I marked for you (: See if that works.
Nope, that doesn't fix it at all. The problem is not the new position, but the fact that you have to grayscale your redstone image and then the game will recolor it automatically. This means you can't have any non-red designs, and it also makes the inactive redstone trails solid black.

But now with beta 1.3 Notch added beds, which dont appear on this texturepack. Can you add them please? :biggrin.gif:

Beds are working fine for me, and I can see redstone again as well (although they're a bit odd, not sure if that's intentional).
This texture pack is absolutely brilliant by the way, thanks!
