OK so version .55 is on Planet Minecraft now and has some Aether textures in it, my laptop is going in for repairs today however and I wont be able to touch the textures for about a week. Ill try to post on here though. sorry for the week off but my lappy needs it bad.
I'd say stick to using the ones I posted, because xai didn't add all the blocks I did to his pack. He used some, but not all of them. Most of the ones in his pack are the default aether textures.

or you could take the time to grab the official ones and use yours as fillers with the official ones till I finish.

windwaker would look cool but not really sure but i would use that idea until you get a better lance idea oh and are you gonna change the whales or floating cloud monsters that shoot the air bubbles? i was wondering since they kind of fit in with the texpack
Ah ok. Well we would like those textures if you dont mind, i can get to work now. im bored anyways. the mobs are gonna stay the same, I love their skins. cant wait to do the moa eggs though.
Alright guys, just an update, but right now Aether support is at about 75% completion! All blocks, and items are finished (Weapons are dead sexy ;D ) so now we are gonna take a look at the mobs. Since the default aether mobs surprisingly fit into the pack VERY well, dont expect TOO big of changes on most mobs (Aerwhale is a good example... just cant beat it...) But we are gonna go through each and every one, making it the best possible!

I used it when I started Minecraft and recently found the newer updated version. I'm glad to say that I use it still. Really great keep up the good work!
