Okay ah... updated the pack again, it works with 1.2.4 now. Added a bunch of stuff to the changelog, so you can see what I did there. Good stuff I think, I haven't given up on the pack just yet.
Life is hectic right now for me in some ways, so I just wanna put out there that I don't know how often I can update the pack. Obviously it's been almost several weeks since the last update. I'll try not to let to much time go by without an update, but life has this way of kicking you in the pants with stress and priorities.
I love this texture pack and I think it is great the only problem I have is that the stone for this texture pack doesnt look very good and some wood doesnt look very natural I also dont like the diamond block. Although besides all of this it is a great texture pack and I love it
Thanks thomo. i realize your post was almost a month ago, but it still deserves a little recognition at least. The stone does need work, and which wood doesn't look natural? As far as the diamond block, do you mean the ore, or the compressed diamonds?
Anyway...
If you reply, I'll keep your suggestions in mind for when I get the urge to work on my pack again. It's the reason I'm posting now. I figured I should update the status on this pack. It's still 1.2.4/1.2.5 compatible, it's just that I haven't had the urge or will to work on anything creative for a while due to a great deal of personal stress and such in my life driving me nuts for the past couple months. It's sort of taken the zest out of doing a lot of fun things for me, so I'm trying to recoop from that. Hopefully it won't be too long. In the mean time, I'll at least add in default textures and stuff for any new things they add into the game for future pack compatibility. I can at least do that much I figure.
Lil heads up, for some reason the link on the first page for the download of the pack was bad. It was linking to a slightly older version of the pack. Fixed it. Still trying to get my stuff in order. Maybe I need to look at something inspiring, or work on some new versions of old icons again to get my creative juices flowing. Anyway, if you were wondering why the download of the texture pack didn't have stuff like the latest wood plank colors and stuff, that's probably why.
Life gives you lemons, you make them take the lemons back. Burn their house down with them. Cave Johnson.
Thanks for your compliments, hidden_paw. I really appreciate it!
Okay guys, I'm working on my texture pack again. Or at least, I'm trying to. I've managed to do a little update, so I've changed a few things around here and there and added a few small things. Taking some baby steps till I can get used to it again. Some of the changes include yet another new stone texture, tweaks to the GUI, and other stuff. Give it a download, let me know what needs work, and I'll try my best. Thanks!
Hey guys, I really appreciate the video reviews and the work put in them, I honestly do. I felt like it was past time though that I at least say something here, seeing as how it's been forever since I've touched my texture pack again.
I really, really hate having to admit this, but there's an ounce of truth in it... I've lost the will to work on my pack anymore I think. It's difficult enough at times for me to keep working on artwork in general nowadays. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to come back to my pack and finish it up, or continue improving upon it. I wish I could, but the want to do so is severely lacking.
I feel like I also owe some explanation as to why this happened. I don't say this out of want for pity or sympathy, but part of what makes it a little difficult for me is that I do have some complications with anxiety and depression that I've been in treatment for, for some time. That, coupled with some various personal issues that I won't discuss here has made trying to focus on creative endeavors a little difficult sometimes.
I honestly feel a little saddened that I haven't been able to work on the pack for a while now, and that it may never get finished. I however, do want to thank each and everyone person that has downloaded and tried my pack from the bottom of my heart, and am even grateful to those that went out of their way to review or show off my texture pack. It's been a very amazing experience to realize that there are people out there that like what I've done.
I would like to think that someday, somehow I'll finish this pack, but I have to be honest in saying that it isn't likely. I especially have to force myself to dedicate more time to doing artwork in general and improving my passion for that first, as well as my technique and skills. Again, thank you to everyone for taking the time with my texture pack, or even looking through it. It's been appreciated!
Edit: Maybe I'll attempt smaller projects in the future, mini-texture packs that only alter like mobs or items or something. Just a random thought.

Anyway I hope you make the texture pack even cooler (which it is pretty cool already) and I hope you get really popular!
